Exploring The Cave

The couple soon finishes butchering the tigers. Their storage rings now contain the bones, leather, and fur of Jade Tigers. Their beautiful fur is known to be useful in luxury clothing for women and men. Their bones can be added to the smelting process of iron and other metals to increase their strength.

White tough leather can be used to make leather armor. Before the couple walks into the cave, Zhihui uses the earthy element of air to take out all the hot and supper heated air from the cave. The hot wings get dispersed into the wild, as the cave gets filled with cold and refreshing air.

"Let's go"

Zhihui says as she enters the cave first, followed by Mors. The couple started to explore the cave, looking at its many rooms and tunnels. They didn't find anything valuable in the cave rooms. Sure, there were some animal bones and shiny metals. But they weren't that useful for Zhihui and Mors.

The couple continues to explore the cave, looking for an entrance into the main goblin cave.

"She did say that the goblins were paying tribute. So there has to be a connection! But where the hell is it?"

Zhihui could not help but scream her heart out in frustration. It has been 30 minutes searching for the connection and they both have come out empty.

"Zhihui why don't you use the earth element to search for the entrance?"

"Um? You can do that?"

"Of course, you can. You just need to spread your Qi through the earth, it's very dangerous if you are attacked while doing such a thing"

"Huh….Xinyang never did something like that"

"It is a pretty advanced technique. Only a person who has been blinded will think of such a thing"

"Alright then. Might as well give it a try. We got nothing to lose"

Zhihui said as she sits down cross-legged in front of a cave wall. She places her hands against the wall as she closes her eyes. Mors stood guard as 200 copies of himself stood around the sitting Zhihui. She started to send out her Qi through the thick layers of stone.

She first started by covering the tunnel she is in with her Qi. Soon follow the entire cave. A 3d Image of the cave they are in appears in her mind. Just like before, she didn't notice any connection going out of the cave into a larger tunnel.

'No, that can't be right. Let think'

Zhihui started to closely inspect every aspect of this cave. She inspected the stone that made the wall and what was behind the wall. She soon found something weird. A wall that is made from a different stone than the rest of the cavern. The stone felt closer to the stone she finds on the cave floor.

She soon gathers her Qi and looks past the stone wall. Soon the image of a circle appears in her mind. Adding more Qi and moving it, the circle turns into a tunnel. The tunnel went down slowly, supported by pillars of stone and wood to stop the cave from collapsing.

As she move her Qi down this tunnel, it soon connected to a larger tunnel. She could feel the vibration of feet against stone and of stone breaking. Zhihui retracted her Qi. Opening her eyes as she stops focusing on the Qi. She slowly stood up as Mors makes the copies disappear.

"Found anything?"

"Yes, a wall that was made by mythical arts. Behind that wall is the tunnel that connects to the goblin tunnel"

"Great!"

"You really have a lot of cultivation knowledge. We should sit down one day and write everything stored in your brain down"

"Give it to the kids, so they can improve on it and be stronger than me"

Zhihui says with a small smile on her face. The idea of passing down her knowledge to her kids felt nice to her. She could imagen it, she drinking some tea as Mors train the kids. Cute chubby kids!

Zhihui ignored her pleading husband as she walks to the wall that it's hiding the connection tunnel.

Zhihui ignored the plead coming entering her right ear.

"Is it because of what I said? Were you trying to tease me? You can tease me now. I promise to stay quiet"

Mors grabs Zhihui by the waist as he brings her closer to his body.

"I am not letting you go till you get it out of your system"

Zhihui crosses her arms as she closes her eyes.

"If you don't let me go I will get mad"

Mors lets her go before Zhihui could count to three. She opens her eyes and looks at the defeated Mors. Even with his mask on, she could see his face clearly in her mind. He really is a good husband; she has seen many times in her past life what a bad husband really is. Zhihui sigh as she looks at Mors and pets his cheek softly.

"Alright I won't get mad at you for stopping my tease"

"Promise?"

"I promise"

Mors clicks his tongue.

"It's sure it's amazing to have a smart wife"

"I have been with you long enough that to know that kiss will turn into something more"

Mors said while smiling behind his mask. Zhihui could not help but close her eyes and shake her head.

"We came here to do something. So, let's focus on that"
