Lily, Where Are You?

While Ren was talking with Lucas, one of his bodyguard came towards him and whispered something to him.

"Your Highness, Lady Lily is not here. She was nowhere to be seen." Said the bodyguard.

"What?" asked Ren as shivers ran down his spine when they told Lily was nowhere to be seen. "I thought she's in the room with the kids?" said Ren as he walked towards the room and Lily was nowhere to be seen. Lucas who was talking with him just now was surprised with his sudden action. "Ren, what's wrong?" asked Lucas.

"Lily's missing. She's not here." Answered Ren. "No, it can't be. I'll ask the staff to look for her." Said Lucas as he walked away asking the staff in the hospital help searching for Lily.

"Look for her. Make sure she's not hurt anywhere." Ordered Ren and his bodyguard starts to look for Lily.

"Augustin, have you tried calling her?" asked Ren as he went near Augustin. "No Your Highness, your phone and her phone are with me…" answered Augustin. *damn it* cussed Ren mentally. "have you seen her go out with someone?" asked Ren as he starts panicking now scared if something bad happen to her but Augustin just shook his head.

"I'm sorry Your Highness I was careless." Said Augustin. While they were talking, one of the nurses in the playhouse was calling for him.

"Your Highness, pardon me," said the nurse. "Abigail's friend told me that she was looking for Abigail but actually I brought Abigail to the washroom with me. And when I came back, one of the girls told me Lady Lily was looking for Abigail…" the nurse explained.

"Then she should still be in this hospital… Augustin, check the CCTV. Ask Lucas for help. I'll go search for her." Said Ren as he left, looking for Lily.

Meanwhile Lily was walking not knowing what floor she is now as she hospital was too big. People could get lost. And one of the people is her. She's lost now. She was walking along the dark hallway. It was pin drop silence and no one was there. Not even the patients, nor doctors or the nurses.

""I'm lost now and I don't even have my phone to call someone." Muttered Lily alone feeling scared with the eerie feeling at the hallway. *this is so scary* thought Lily while she was hugging herself, looking at her surroundings. Then, Lily heard a faint footstep behind her. But when she turned her back, she saw no one.

"Ren? Is that you?" called Lily but no answer. *I don't like this…* thought Lily. Then, as soon as she turned her back, she saw a man in all black wearing a black cap walked towards her. But before she could cry for help, that man caught her and put a napkin on her mouth. All Lily remember was that everything turned black after that.

As for Lucas, he was in the CCTV room watching all those cameras but Lily was nowhere to be seen. "Damn it. Search every corner." Said Lucas while gritting his teeth. "No sir, she's not here…." Said the staff.

"Alright then, search E-wing. The old building." said Lucas suddenly. "But sir, no one use that building anymore…" said the staff. "I know, she could probably be there because the only way to access that building is the elevator at paediatric ward. She could go there." Answered Lucas. Then, they decided to have a look at the old building, and what surprised them is that they saw Lily. But she was unconscious and a man was carrying her and locked her in a room. "damn." Muttered Ren in anger.

Then, Lucas went to tell Ren everything. As soon as Ren heard about it, without thinking anything he straight away ran to look for Lily followed by few bodyguards and Lucas behind him while Augustin stayed, trying to hold down the media for knowing the missing of Lily.

Once they've reached the old building, they straight away went to the room that Lily was locked in. Ren who couldn't hold any longer, he just pushed the door using his legs and once it was opened, Lily was lying on the floor with eyes closed.

"God, Lily, open your eyes... It's me, Ren…" called Ren as he shook her lightly trying to make her open her eyes. "Lucas!" shouted Ren. "Lucas!" shouted Ren again while holding Lily tightly in his arms.

"Chill man, I'm here." Said Lucas as he went near them. Lucas took out his small torchlight and looked on Lily's eyes and he let out a sigh of relief. He was thankful. Then, he checked her vitals and it was fine. He also looked towards her body and luckily there are no physical injuries.

"She's fine. Bring her to the emergency ward and give her some iv drip." Ordered Lucas towards the nurses that he brought with him.

"Don't worry, she's fine… she just inhaled some chloroform…" said Lucas to Ren who was still holding Lily in his arms.

"Listen," called Ren towards the bodyguards. "I want all of you to find that man and bring him to me. All of you are careless. Someone should have followed with her no matter where she goes. She's the future Queen of Stella and nothing serious or bad should have ever happen to her." Said Ren trying to hold his anger.

"If you can't find that man, you all are fired." Said Ren. "Augustin, report everything to me when they're done." Said Ren and left them.

"Understood, Your Highness." Bowed Augustin.

At night, Lily was lying in her room alone and she was still unconscious. That evening, he had ordered them to bring Lily back to the palace scared if there's anything bad happened to her again. He was in her chamber, stay by her side ever since they got in the Palace. Both the Queen and the King visited her room and was sad on what had happened to her.

"I should stay by your side…." Said Ren as he brushed her hair gently. While he was looking after her, both Anna and Mia entered her room. "Your Highness, we have prepared some tea and food for you… you can have it while waiting for Lady Lily…" said Mia. "That's okay, and you both can go… I'll be in this room till she wakes up." Said Ren as he gave them his dry smiles.

"A-alright Your Highness… we shall take our leave then…" said Anna. Both of them bowed to him before they left her chamber.

Next morning, Lily finally woke up feeling dizzy and her head feels so heavy. She tried to open her eyes slowly and as soon as she opened her eyes, she saw someone's hair on the side of her bed. She even felt that someone was holding her hands tightly. It was Ren.

"Ren?" called Lily with her crooked voice. Ren who was sleeping next to her, hear the familiar voice and woke up. "Lily?" called Ren as he rubbed his eyes and saw that Lily has finally opened her eyes.

"Ren!" called Lily as she straight away went near him and hugged him tightly. She doesn't know why, but she was crying while hugging him. Things that happened yesterday stills lingers in her mind.

"It's okay…. I'm here…." Said Ren softly while caressing her back gently. "I'm scared… I was really scared… someone was standing behind m-my back and I-I felt like I inhaled something… and then e-everything turned black…. I was calling for you but you're not there…" cried Lily who was still hugging him as tears rolling down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry I was late… I'm really sorry…" said Ren. "I'm just glad that you have finally opened your eyes…." Said Ren as he broke the hug and wiped her tears using his thumb gently. "We're still looking for that man… don't worry, I'll make sure he confess everything…. Alright?" said Ren as he gave her his charming smiles. And that charming smiles of him really calmed her down. Lily nodded. "Okay…" said Lily.

That noon, Ren was in his study room, reading few papers when suddenly Augustin came in.

"Your highness," called Augustin as he went near his table.

"We've found the man…" said Augustin. When Ren heard it, he put down his pen and looked up to Augustin.

"Then bring him here." Said Ren in a cold manner as he brought his hands together.
