Just by Looking at Them
Krisha let out an impatient sigh as she watched the hours tick by. After all, it was supposed to be the day that Taro returned to her, and yet he was still nowhere in sight despite the fact that the sun was about to set.
"Where are you, Taro…" she sighed as she looked at the setting sun beyond the horizon. "You told me you were going to return today, and yet it's already night out…"
She let out another sigh before eventually returning to her duties. Sure, she could always just contact him through their Bond, but she wasn't that desperate to know why he was running late. Well, she was, but she had principles in that she wouldn't want to disturb him and make him come even later than they expected. All she could assume was that something was holding him up, but it wasn't too bad that he needed to tell her that he was going to take longer than expected.
Which meant that he would probably still arrive later that night.
