"Keep your distance; it was nothing. I don't need a man's thanks," retorted Zhang Fan, stepping back, leaving Dayou awkwardly in place.
Though the atmosphere remained warm, especially after Zhang Fan's rescue act, he earned everyone's respect, particularly from Xiaoyouli, who admired him for not abandoning his peers in crucial moments.
Post-B3, the team moved on, soon reaching Guild's B6 passageway. Remembering this room's complexity, Zhang Fan halted everyone, warning of the traps, which included laser cutting—a danger he knew they couldn't physically withstand.
"How could you be sure there are no traps inside?" Zhang Fan questioned, bemused by their oversight of such critical defenses in their own base.
