Chapter thirty three: an empty space

Heaven Alizah Dianne's pov: 

"So that's why you were offline for so long. You were recovering from the poison yourself, and yet you absorb more from someone else. Are you trying  to kill yourself?. We know that you are immune to it and can absorb a whole lot of it without rest, but you shouldn't abuse it. The way it affected you shows that there is limit to how much you can absorb" they said worryly. "Yes you are right. Everything has limit. I will keep that in mind" l said. They sighed, and for the first time l couldn't hear the actual emotion in their sigh. It is filled with relief, frustration, happiness and sadness at the same time. "What is it?, Are you okay?" I said as touched their cheeks tenderly, and they touched my hands on their cheeks tenderly too and kissed my palms. "Sis, we are happy that we are finally getting rid of the ice curse, but...we don't know why, there has always been this empty space inside of us. Like a space that can never be filled up. Having you around always lessen the feeling. But now that you are leaving, although you said you would visit everyday, it is still.. we don't know" they said, they looked so confused. I know what is wrong with them, as demons we are supposed to find their mates by the age of eighteen. But sometimes our mates may not be within our vicinity, in such occasions it could take a long time before a  demon could find his or her mates. Since my brothers didn't find their mates in Dekrish for so long, they thought that their mates are definitely not in Dekrish. But it is possible that they are, Dekrish is a huge kingdom. On the day of the festival it took us five hours to complete the parade around the kingdom, and we only went to the major places in Dekrish . Also our mates are our other halves, the second part of our soul. Staying without the other half one's soul for so long, will definitely make one feel empty. But my brothers never bothered to look for their mates because of their illness. But since they are going to be cured now, l think it is high time they look for their mates. 

"Damion, Derick, you feeling empty because you haven't found your mates. You should have found your mates fifty six years ago, so of course you will feel empty" l said. "But we can't find go and look for our mates now, not now" they said. "How about this. Once  after your treatment, try to find them . Okay?" I said, hoping they would agree. "Sis, we can't leave you alone in Dekrish" they said shaking their head. "Look, it is not necessary for you to leave Dekrish. Dekrish is the largest demon kingdom in the demon realm. We haven't been to every single place in Dekrish. I'm just asking you to take tour around the whole kingdom. Maybe you will find your mates in no time" l said. They sighed, "okay, we will try what you said". I smiled, "l pray that you guys find the one for you, mates can influence you negatively and positively. I hope you have mates that will influence you positively, and will fill up your empty space completely". They smiled, "we wish for the same thing too, and the same for you" they said. "Alright, now who is hungry?" I said, and they laughed. As usual, they have prepared dinner. We ate together, and had a lot of fun afterwards. Although we grown ups, my brothers always knows how to bring you back to your childhood days.
