expedition to earth

The hours passed by quickly and The X team couldn't hide their nervousness to finally face their mission. Xiumin, the leader of the team, was busy checking everything. He made sure their ship was full and loaded with their weapons and flying bikes. He also made sure 30 soldiers that would come with them on a mission already at the headquarters. Most of all, he still hadn't do his biggest fear, telling his father. After struggling in front of the big screen that installed in his office, he finally gave up and would tell him with a message. It might be sound strange but Xiumin scared to face his father.

Just like Xiumin, the rest of the teams were not spending their time enjoying the last time in EXO. Well, not for Kyungsoo, Chen, and Sehun. Kyungsoo parents passed away a few years back and he already say goodbye to his aunt and uncle via a call to his planet. While at the other hand Sehun was trying his best to get away from his brother. It was rather become funny in front of the others. He somehow managed to develop some kind of Yi Fan radar in a short time. Every time Yi Fan presence was nearer, he would run away or busying himself with something that he actually unnecessarily had to do.

Tao and Kyungsoo laughed when they saw Sehun pushed away one of Tao's worker from the company to exchange job with him. Then they watched him loaded the ship with dozens of guns followed by swords and some lasers bullets. Tao almost teased him of why he didn't just put on the workers outfits and quit his job as a Guardian. This actually caused Tao flew hundred meters away from his standing position and landed up in top of one the space ship.

Now for the prince case, he was nowhere in the sight. He was the last one that attended the meeting and became the first one to leave, making the others confused. His act was totally strange for the last few days and no one knew the exact reason behind his behavior.

At first, some of them thought it was probably because his visit to the deepest cell. But then Kai told them that he saw Chen was already acting strange when he met him even before they ordered to visit the prisoners.

Until now, when their departure time was nearer. Chen was still nowhere in the sight. Some people were already sent to check up on his room in the palace, or to anywhere he probably would go. But they have not found him. This totally stressing out Xiumin. He felt like he wanted to freeze the entire dock where he had been waiting for over an hour. They just visited the King one last time to ask for blessings their mission, and Chen was missing. The King seemed calm about it. But it still not makes sense to Xiumin, why Chen still not appeared till now.

"Sir, Everything is ready." One of the soldier that assigned to accompany The X team approached Xiumin who looked like he could explode any time.

"Fine, Go get the others. We'll leave in a few minutes." Xiumin sighed and tried so hard not to yell his order despite for his rage right now.

He went down the dock and meets the others. All the X team was already gathered except for Chen. Yi Fan, Suho, and Kai were there too. Lay was busy with something that related with his own team mission, and no one knew where was Baekhyun.

Yi Fan was in the middle of his last scolding session with Sehun, and Kai was joking around with Tao when finally, Chen appeared. He was riding his flying bikes with Baekhyun in his back. Xiumin breathed a heavy air when saw this, and give a sign to the soldier in the ship to turn on the machine.

"Where were you Chen?" Xiumin asked as soon as Chen and Baekhyun hopped off the bike. Chen looked tiredly at Xiumin but he still answered anyway.

"I'm sorry leader. I was off to somewhere a bit far from the city." Chen answered and made Xiumin flinched when he heard the word "leader"

"Don't call me that. Just the usual will work out. Why you go out the city at the time like this Chen? You knew we are on chasing with time." Xiumin tilted his head trying to read Chen expression, but it was too hard to read.

"I.... actually" Chen stuttered.

"We went to visit his mom." Baekhyun blurted out and Xiumins face immediately fell. Chen glared at Baekhyun, but he acted like he didn't even care if Chen ready to sting him right now.

Of course, how could he never think of that? It was a public secret for the people in EXO that they assumed Chen was the one who accidentally killed his mom with his power. He was appear to be cold kid but his mom was his only soft spot. He always looked for her and never stopped blaming himself for not strong enough to control himself.

"Alright people, time to go. Say goodbye now." Xiumin said, then say goodbye to the other wielder Generals and his trusted Lieutenant-General whom he trusted his soldiers to. He then started to climb up the stairs and walked inside the ship.

"Sehun" Yi Fan said just when Sehun was about to walk away from him. Sehun groaned in annoyance but looked to his brother anyway. He was expecting to get another word of advice that boring him, but instead Yi Fan only smiled.

"I just want you to know that I am proud of you and good luck on your mission" He said and put his hand on Sehuns shoulder who was gawping.

"Thank you Brother." He finally said and smiled back. But then something suddenly stirred in his chest and without even realizing it he pulled Yi Fan and hugged him. They were both hugged tight before finally released each other and Sehun waved goodbye.

"Make sure you look up for girls in there cous'" Kai smirked and gave Tao a knowing look. Tao just rolled his eyes and ignore him.

"We are on a mission. There's no such time for things like that. Beside I don't even know what their people will look like" Tao replied and walked away, followed by Chanyeol and Kyungsoo who just say goodbye to the Generals too.

"Well we never know cous'. And maybe they just look like us" Kai half yelled because of the distance between them.

Chen was the last one to enter. Baekhyun held his shoulder and looked him worriedly.

"Be safe my friend. Make sure you come back, or your father will have to find another child to replace you and be the next King. I'm kind of hoping he will consider me though." Baekhyun said and earning a smack in the back of his head by Kris.

Chen chuckled a little, and waves goodbye.

"I'll see you guys soon. And thanks for earlier Baekhyun" he said and Baekhyun nodded

Once all of The X team's members were already inside, the door closed and the machine sound started to buzz louder. The Generals and Kai waved their hands and watched as The Ship left the dock toward the sky in a lightning speed. They hope for the best toward their friends.

After the ship was out of sight, Lay came running and stopped beside them.

"Did I miss them?" He asked out of his breath.

"Yup, Don't worry. We still will see them." Suho reassured and patted Lay's back.

"Well now that they're on their mission. I'm sure it is time for us to work on our mission too" Kai said made the other looked to him, confused.

"Who are you and what did you do to Kai?" Lay blurted and caused the others laughed. Sometimes they couldn't even understand how Kai suddenly could speak up just like some wise man. Because he obviously not one.

The trip in the ship was rather boring for The X team. The first week was appeared joyously, as all of them enjoyed the feeling of leaving their galaxy and passed the others.

The next week passed on with Tao and Kyungsoo who almost broke one of the ship walls as the result of their boringness and decided to practice together. Xiumin madly locked both of them in their room and even freeze them with his ice for the first few hours. But this seem didn't worked out either. Kyungsoo shattered the ice with his power the moment Xiumin left the room and lying in his bed instead. While Tao, he being half of Frost race from his mother side apparently didn't affected with the cold temperature that trapped him. He successfully broke out from the ice either and walked casually out from his room and hide in Sehun's.

When they finally entered the third week of their trip, Chanyeol decided to create a scene. He accidentally burned half of the ship machine and caused them stopped at the nearest galaxy to fix it, making them wasting their time for almost another week. Luckily the galaxy was the one where EXO's colleague stayed. They were called Gavian and were one like EXO that survived from The Fervent too.

Xiumin who ever visited to their Planet Center: Gav, on his previous mission accepted warmly by their leader.  They even served them more when they knew Chen; the prince was a part of the team too. They also sent news back to their galaxy, and the Gav leader even had a conversation with Zunro. This is resulted to their ship that already fixed with the newest machine, and even loaded with food by the Gavenian

When they finally started their trip back, the time was back to be boring again. Chen was still acted strange but not to the point that made the others worried. He was always appeared to be the one that cheerfully played around with his friends. But this time he just silent most of the time.
