In the year 813, at the age of eight, every child, whether from the nobility or not, had to pass tests designed to measure his or her war potential. These tests are varied: physical, theoretical, historical, strategic and political. Their aim is to prepare the younger generation for the future in the best possible way.
The physical and strategic potential test is broadcast on the screens of all empires, like a captivating TV series. The physical test assesses children's martial skills, while the theoretical test covers topics such as past events and future possibilities. The strategic test enables candidates to propose tactics for battles large and small, and the political test helps them develop their political culture.
Through these exams, the candidate's potential is rated from 1 to 8:
1: Symbolic
2: Ambition
3: Appearance
4: Strategist
5: Revolutionary
6: Conqueror
7: Negotiator
8: Unifier
Children from each empire meet in a neutral territory to take these exams. This neutral territory also houses the academy, which every student must attend from the age of fifteen. This rule was introduced to guarantee a peaceful future.
The site is a large dome, 150 meters in diameter and 80 meters high. This imposing dome stands as a symbol of grandeur and excellence, designed to host the most rigorous physical tests. Inside, the space combines elegance and functionality, creating a setting that is both inspiring and practical.
The interior walls of the dome are clad in dark wood panels, polished and decorated with elegant geometric patterns. These panels form a play of lines and shapes, creating a dynamic dimension depending on the viewing angle. The ceiling is supported by carved steel beams, accentuating the impression of height and openness.
At the center of the vast hall is a massive stone platform, raised a few meters and surrounded by a wrought-iron balustrade. This platform is designed for physical tests and is surrounded by a polished concrete floor, ideal for speed, strength and agility tests. Obstacles such as horizontal bars, climbing walls and slalom courses are arranged around the platform, made from tough materials to withstand the most intense challenges.
Rows of dark leather seats, arranged in concentric circles around the platform, allow spectators and judges to follow the events with an unobstructed view. The seats are padded for comfort and slightly reclined, offering good support during the long hours of competition. On either side of the hall, additional bleachers accommodate a larger number of spectators, allowing them to experience the dynamic atmosphere of the event.
At the corners of the dome, elegant marble fountains add a touch of sophistication and a refreshing resting space. Sculpted with classical motifs, these fountains pour crystal-clear water into circular basins, providing a soothing contrast to the effervescence of the events.
At the rear of the dome, a large stage, decorated with sober but elegant draperies, is reserved for award ceremonies and speeches. Decorative tapestries, depicting scenes from past competitions and historic moments, hang behind the stage, adding a touch of heritage and celebration to the event.
The dome is thus a harmonious space where excellence and performance are celebrated in a refined and functional setting, offering both a stimulating environment for participants and an impressive spectacle for spectators.
Numerous spectators are already on hand for the event. For them, it's a show not to be missed. Iconic figures emerge during this period, and spectator numbers are five times higher than usual due to the announcement of a prophet predicting the beginning of the world's golden age. Although they can't know whether this golden age is beginning today, they certainly don't want to miss out on the future of this "golden" generation.
