The person who his friends were worrying about him was facing a violet haired beautiful woman in the middle of a ominous forest.

"Stupid disciple you're gonna break your record of beast hunting today, the former record in the last 300 you've spent in Kleria was 700 beast, today I want you to shed the blood of a thousand beast in the Nightmare Zephyr Forest." Mira was very stern when she said this.

"Yes master I understand." Orpheus replied.

"Very good, now do you know why I want you to kill that much monster?"

He answered. "To control my killing intent and bloodlust."

"That's correct, now I'll be leaving don't let me down stupid disciple." Mira placed her hands on her hip

"Yes master." Orpheus nodded.

"But firstly let me do this." She said as she disappeared from her position and reappeared behind Orpheus, she grabbed hold of his long lustrous silver hair, ice mana started gathering on her hand then it formed a sharp ice knife.

She swung the frosty knife Orpheus's hair cutting it short to reach his neck.

"Now that's better, although long hair fits you, it'll hinder your battle with monsters so don't be sad."

"Don't worry master I was thinking of cutting it short anyways, so it's okay." Orpheus told her.

"I see, well then I'm leaving don't miss me too much and you must break the record before I come back, okay."

Orpheus nodded. "Yes master."

Then she pecked Orpheus on the cheek and she disappeared from the forest.

"Haah she doesn't know when to stop, well I got to go kill some monsters so I can control my intense bloodlust and killing intent, Ophis open the system store." He sighed.

Orpheus click the item category because he wanted a better sword. Although the weapon Mira gave him were good, he didn't feel comfortable with it, he told Mira about it and she was cool with him buying a sword from the system shop. He also has a lot of Chaos Origin Points (COP) which is the system currency to use.

Orpheus was standing in a land that was full of destruction and blood.

Lots of corpses of beast were scattered on the ground.

Orpheus body was covered in blood, his lustrous silver hair was dyed blood red with the blood from the monster, his cloth were stained with blood.

In his hand was a black longsword that was radiating an intense purple and red aura. The air around him was so sharp that cuts were made on the trees around him, the reason for this was because Orpheus was radiating and using sword Qi, it's the energy that a swordman can attain when he/she reached the Sword master level. It's been 2 days since Orpheus Started hunting monsters, and so far here was the result.

The ground beneath him started trembling violently.

SCREECH

The air was suddenly filled with a screech that echoed through the dark forest. A sound that sent a chill down Orpheus's spine. The atmosphere grew dense, the foreboding presence of something powerful drawing closer.

Without hesitation, Orpheus grasped his longsword tightly, the blade flashing in the dim light. His senses sharpened every muscles in his body tensing in preparation for the inevitable confrontation.

From one of the carcasses scattered along the path, something dark and swift launched itself toward him with a feral snarl.

'Analyse ' Orpheus told the system.

Orpheus's response was instantaneous. His sword moved in a blur, flashing a red aura. The blade slicing through the air with precision honed by countless battles.

There was a brief moment of resistance as the blade met flesh, and then the shadow stalker momentum faltered

THUD

The beast landed heavily on the ground, it body split cleanly in two by the force of Orpheus's strike.

It twitch once, then lay still, it blood pooling around it.

"As expected... There's always some parasite wondering around like this."

[You indeed got stronger master ]

Orpheus released his grasp from his sword, his gaze never leaving the direction of where the screech came from. "Strength alone isn't enough." He replied.

"It's about knowing when to strike, how to use the opponent own momentum against them, and with the bea-training I've endured so far with master, of course I'll be strong."

As the echoes of the screech faded, the forest seems to fall into an uneasy silence, as if the very land itself was holding it breath.

But then, as if triggered by some unseen force, the stillness of the forest was shattered by a deafening roar that echoed through the craggy peaks

The sound was deep and resonant, a powerful, guttural bellow that seems to shake the very foundation of the earth.

It was the unmistakan cry of monster Orpheus was about to face.
