Mila's POV
Having a quick shower, I reluctantly got dressed as I stood in front of the mirror just staring at my reflection in it. I took in several deep breaths as I tried to rearrange my scattered thoughts.
I still couldn't believe that I was here, on a getaway that I thought was going to give me clarity. I had planned to fix my damn heart, but I did know that my heart was going to be more confused than ever.
I didn't know how I was going to survive staying in the same house with Angel because my body still shuddered at the mere thought of the intense expression I saw in his eyes.
"What was going to happen? What was he going to do?
Will he tell Armando everything that happened between us?" I asked myself so many questions I knew I didn't have the answers to
But I knew just one thing, that there was no going back now. I had to put on a brave face and get through this godforsaken trip.
