''Are you out of your mind, Michael?'' Richard barked at his son.

For the first time ever, Richard yelled at one of his kids, and it was as if thunder struck.

Everywhere fell silent.

Judy started to cry.

''Daddy, why did you shout at Michael? Now I am scared of you,'' she told her dad, walking towards him and opening her arms, so that Richard would carry her. She needed him to console her, after making her as afraid as she was.

Michael wanted to cry as well, but he held on to his manliness and only pouted at his father angrily.

''Judy, come to mummy instead. Let mummy console you. Come and let us go to bed, okay?'' she added.

Susan was going to take Judy from Richard when Richard glared at her angrily. From Richard's look, it was obvious that he had enough of the humiliation from Susan and the kids, especially Michael.
