Chapter 72

''I'll wait for you outside,'' Richard quietly said, and stepped out of the room. His peering eyes still glanced in the direction of where he had seen Susan naked. No matter how hard he tried to keep his eyes away from looking at her, it didn't work out.

If only Susan was not this stubborn. Richard thought. Why would she not allow him to look at her nakedness like other women? What a darned woman.

Susan waited until he left the room and then she went to lock the door. She could not afford to trust Richard one bit, after all, it was his house indeed, he could make any excuse and force himself inside the room.

Richard leaned against the wall close to the door of Susan's room and waited. He was at the edge, and suddenly felt the urge to smoke a cigarette, but he couldn't, because of the kids. Richard usually puffed on a cigarette anytime he was bored or feeling nervous, but since he met his kids, he had not had the time to think of a cigarette.
