Jayden had anticipated that this would be her response, given Petra's tendency to act according to her desires without prior notice. Despite Jayden's busy schedule, he always made time for Petra whenever she required it, although Petra didn't adhere to the same principle.

He had pampered her excessively, almost to the extent of spoiling her. He consistently respected her privacy, which is why he refrained from prying too much into her affairs.

" You did not tell me you had another set. Did you not just finish another one a week ago." Jayden questioned Petra, it was obvious he was disappointed with his tone. He had done everything to prove how much he loved Petra but she was her person.

 "Yes, the last project was a gigantic success. The director praised my performance, which led him to recommend me for this upcoming film, projected to be a blockbuster. I realize I should have informed you earlier, but everything happened so swiftly, and I couldn't turn down the opportunity. As a B-list artist, my popularity could skyrocket if this film succeeds," Petra explained, attempting to soothe Jayden with a gentle tone. She understood the importance of his support, as her entire career was dependent on it.

" So how long would you be gone this time?" Jayden asked while he was pouring some whiskey into his glass, Petra was good at leaving him speechless. He had to take something to not explode with his frustration because he would rather not pour it on Petra. He was twirling the content in the glass. Furthermore, he had a lay back posture on his study leather chair. His left hand was holding the phone while the right the glass of whiskey.

Petra did not say anything because she could feel Jayden was in a bad mood. Maybe after she is done with this set, she would try her best to coax him. She actually had enough time to inform Jayden, but she decided against it because she was sure he would be against it since she just finished filming in another set.

" I don't know if there will be any break during filming, but the set period is three months, and we would be busy throughout since it is an action movie. My very first action movie. I was given a major supporting role. Please don't be angry plum, I promise to make it back to you." Petra pleading voice was very soothing that Jayden felt guilty for sounding displeased at her actions. Her career was the most important thing to her, even more than him.

"Three months, you say." He paused to savour the last remnants of his drink. "I wish you had informed me about it. We agreed to keep our relationship private, but something significant has come up. I need you to accompany me as my plus one for my family's Gala event. They're eager to meet the person who has captured my heart, but I'm not sure if it's feasible now." He chuckled lightly, his magnetic laughter resonating over the phone. Jayden possessed a charming baritone voice that only added to his allure.

" That is terrible but I have an idea what if you get an escort to accompany you then maybe when I am back you will formally introduce me to your family then claim you have broken up with the escort. That way it is a win-win for both of us because I don't think I can travel back. It is a fifteen-hour flight and filming starts immediately tomorrow, and I have many beginning scenes." Petra suggested what she thought it was a good idea, but it obviously did not go well with Jayden, he gulped all the contents of his glass. His Adams apple gobbled while he swallowed it all in one go.

Petra actually proposed he went to such an important event with someone else, was she not even a little bite jealous. " I was not expecting you to suggest that, won't it make me look like a play boy to my family." Jayden poured himself another glass. Petra could sense his displeasure, but there was nothing else she could do. There is no way she would abandon this set just to see his family.

" Sugar plum I know it does not sound nice but think about it. I have to go now. The production crew and cast are having a get-together I need to prepare myself. Take care of yourself. I love you." She disconnected the call immediately before Jayden could say any other thing. Petra was standing by the glass window of her exquisite VIP hotel room. It was already morning in this country.

The crew was actually meeting for lunch, but she needed an excuse to hang up. Petra was already very drained from her long flight, she required a hot bath and a long beautiful nap. 

The beautiful young lady standing by the window looked exactly like an Idol with a beautiful face. Her body was not very curvy but was still beautiful with everything evenly proportional since she had to maintain a strict diet. She moved away from the full-length window showing a fantastic view of the beach since the hotel was by the seaside. She had to soak in a relaxing hot tub to ease her muscles.

Jayden heard the disconnecting tone and whispered I love you too, even though he was aware she won't hear it. He finished his glass of whiskey in a single gup. He texted his friends to meet with him for a drink. Likewise, he needed to get drunk tonight.

He left his study to his room and change his outfit. He didn't over dress just a simple shirt which he folded the hands, Trousers paired with shoes. His toned muscle were showing in his shirt showing out his perfect body that made many girls and guys drool.

Due to his height, he boasted remarkably long legs, and his slightly disheveled hair lent him a devilish appearance. His friend had forwarded him the club's location; they were already enjoying themselves there. Jayden was aware that they wouldn't anticipate his invitation, as it deviated from his usual behavior as a workaholic. However, he craved some companionship and drinks tonight.

The time was late around 10 pm but for those who enjoyed the nightlife, the night was still young. Jayden knew the location of the club since it was one of their favourites he liked hanging outs with his friends.

He informed his driver because he knew it would be too drunk to drive himself back home. After everything was ready, he left in one of his expensive cars.

At the entrance of a luxurious high-end club, Casablanca nightclub and bar. There was a very long waiting line because of how popular it was. Jayden alighted from his car and was ushered through the VIP entrance. The moment he stepped down from his expensive car all dressed in black he attracted many curious stares because of how handsome his figure was, but it was a shame, none of them on the waiting line could get a glimpse of his face.

They were all unquestionably certain of his striking handsomeness, attributed to his majestic aura and demeanor. His perfect broad shoulders and sexy V-shape were enough to speak of his allure. The well-toned muscles peeking out of his shirt garnered admiration and envy alike.

He must be an important figure for him to be graceful ushered through the VIP entrance. Jayden headed straight to a private room. The one his friends already at because of his identity, he always avoided public places as much as he can.

When Jayden walked into the private VIP room, he could smell the intoxicating smell of tobacco and alcohol wafted in the air. Sitting in a corner was a very handsome young man who was smiling mischievous at several girls around him.

Miles was a notorious,Infamous playboy and because of his looks and wealth, he could get whatever prey he laid his eyes on. The Moment Jayden stepped in, the room temperature dropped drastically. Even though Miles was his close friend, he never liked his habit.

Miles, who was aware of his friend's presence, had to tell the surrounding beauties to go because he knew being on the receiving end of Jayden's wrath was the last thing he wanted.

The beauties were reluctant to go, but they had no choice than to. After Jayden took a seat, the server poured him a fresh glass of drink, after which Jayden ordered him to go.

Jayden was not fond of being around strangers. " Where is Eric?" Jayden questioned before is lit a tobacco cigarette to take a puff.

Miles saw Jayden smoking and knew immediately he was in a bad mood because Jayden only smokes when he is pissed. " Don't tell me your celebrity girlfriend got on your nerves again. Oh, people in love." Miles teased with a mischievous smile on his face, he could never understand why his friend was so much in love with a normal human.

" That was not the question I asked." Jayden stated annoyed at Mile's mischievous smile, he could already guess what was in his mind.

Miles saw that Jayden mood was getting worse so he answered his previous question. " Eric had to leave, he had an important call from his family in Europe, so he had to travel back immediately." His playboy attitude was gone when he replied to Jayden. He looked like a serious businessman.
