Hidden wounds

Maya has started to calm down now, she let the wind gust take away all her wounds.

Now Maya stares blankly at the dark sky. There were no stars visible even the moonlight was covered by clouds.

"Is the sky always so dark like this?" Maya asked when Marve had just covered Maya's shoulders who sat pensively on the balcony of their room, staring at the night sky.

Now Marve sits next to Maya and looks at the same sky. "By day the sky becomes bright," Marve replied.

"I want to see the stars. I've heard it from a movie that the star is the incarnation of a loved one who has passed away, I want to see if I can see the faces of my parents among the stars in the night sky." Maya said every sentence sounded sad.

"I miss them." Maya quickly wiped her tears that she couldn't hold back, smiling, turned her head to look at Marve who was now looking at her.

"They never came to my dreams after their death. I am happy that they finally want to meet me. All this time I thought they hated me. Because I was the cause of their death." Maya started sobbing now. Her heartfelt was so tight that she couldn't hold it in.

The wound that she had been harboring finally exploded creating unbearable pain.

"They smiled at me .. Then said I should live happily. My heart ached so much, I ran towards them until I fell but they stayed away. I called out while crying until my voice was hoarse but they slowly disappeared into the mist without looking at me." Maya told her stories with tears in her eyes and Marve could only hug her to calm her down.

"They left me again." Maya cried even louder.

"It's okay Maya, I am with you now," Marve whispered, her eyes turning red. He knows how the pain slowly kills all the joy he has when his parents leave him one by one.

"I miss them, Marve. Why did they only come for a moment and then go back?"

Marve couldn't answer other than to hug Maya even tighter.

It was morning, Marve was just talking to Veronica when Maya slowly descended the stairs. Her leg still ached but that was no excuse for lazing around.

Maya saw Veronica grabbing her bag and walking away from their residence.

"Marve ... " Maya called out to Marve when she had not yet come down the stairs.

Marve turned and smiled, he walked over to Maya and immediately carried Maya without warning made Maya scream but Marve did not hear it even though Maya struggled to ask to be taken down.

"Marve ... put me down. Where are we going and why is Veronica leaving?" Maya asked when Marve had walked towards the exit and the car was waiting with the door open.

Marvel then put Maya down and put her next to the steering seat and put on her seat belt.

"Marve.." Maya calls back, but Marve still ignores her, he is seen taking the key from her private driver's hand and now has walked towards the driver's seat and sure enough, Marve was right next to her.

"Come on, Marve, I'm not just a vacuum here. Why don't you answer my question." Maya grumbled irritably.

Marve then took a breath and leaned toward Maya and stared at her closely now Maya had completely shrunk as Marve didn't blink at all as she looked at her this close.

"Honey ... calm down, or I'll kiss you." Marve's words managed to make Maya nod slowly.

Marve got up now and started the engine.

Wahh .. why is he getting more perverted every day? Maya spoke to herself, giving her goosebumps whenever she remembered how Marve had been teasing her lately.

"Am I not allowed to talk at all?" Maya asked carefully. Marve turned happily what Maya had looked like before. No more sad eyes that emanated from her eyes now everything looks fine.

"Just smile without answering me?" Maya quipped, she was a little annoyed that Marve was ignoring her like this.

Then suddenly the car they were driving stopped and made Maya's body shake a little. Now the car they were driving had pulled over to the corner of the road.

"Marve!" Maya shrieked and turned her head in annoyance. Why did Marve break suddenly like this? But Marve remained silent and a second later he kissed Maya's lips softly and briefly making Maya's eyes perfectly rounded with shock.

Now Maya can only blink her eyes because she feels her spirit has faded along with the air that begins to feel tight.

"Marve.." Only that could come out of Maya's lips which felt stiff now.

"You want me to kiss you again?" Marve asked, his body still facing Maya while Maya did not have the strength to even turn and stare at Marve, Maya was only able to shake her head quickly sign that she did not want to get another kiss.

Marve looked forward again and smiled, he was so happy to intimidate Maya like this until he felt his hand in pain and it turned out that Maya bit him mercilessly.

"Maya.." Marve shouted, he tried to release his arm from Maya's bite but Maya kept biting him so hard that Marve could feel Maya's fangs piercing his skin.

"Maya .. you want to eat me alive huh?" Marve screamed in pain until Maya slowly released her bite but her eyes remained on Marve sharply.

"You are crazy..." Marve said irritably after closing his arm, which was slightly bleeding and there were traces of Maya's teeth sticking together.

"You are crazier... If you kiss me without asking again like that I will chew you alive." Maya replied, she looks scary right now but Marve doesn't want to lose just like that.

"Okay if that's what you want.." Marve said, he seemed to give up and Maya smiled happily, she felt like she was winning now, and that way Marve would not act as she pleased.

"I will kiss you right now."

Maya rounded her eyes again when Marve kissed her again and this time the kiss was demanding, Marve's lips made Maya's heart rustle.

Unfortunately, Marve's lips are sweet, Maya can't refuse it even she wants to reply, not want to but she already kissed Marve. Swiping Marve's lips alternately according to what Marve did, this is not their first or second kiss so Maya has learned quite a bit by opening her mouth a little and let Marve's tongue enter her oral cavity, sticking out and twisting their tongues, pulling them into Marve's oral cavity and taking a sip without making Maya groan. Oh, Maya didn't want to stop, this kiss made her blood feel like flowing all over her body made her tense and wanted Marve to kiss her deeper so Maya could not help grabbed Marve's hair and deepened their kiss.

"Someone who just threatened me but she kissed me back .. Gosh, so shameless..." Marve touched his trembling lips with a triumphant smile as Maya was silent, her face flushed with shame, Marve let go of their kiss while Maya was still sipping Marve's lower lip wildly.

Marve then gently stroked Maya's hair before turning the engine back on.

Looks like Marve forgot about the marriage contract that ensnared them which at times can choke them if love pulls the rope of that contract to the bottom of the abyss of separation because their contract has ended.

Now Maya just needs to convince her heart not to waver again even though Marve's kiss is very intoxicating, Marve's attitude may only be limited to a man's temptation for a woman. Maya must be steadfast, I hope I can.

Marve will never fall in love with you Maya, even if you turn into a swan you will not be able to fly to reach him. That's the reality.

Maya took a deep breath and chose to turn her gaze away.

"Marve.."

"Yes?.."

"I'm now afraid to fall in love with you."

Marve did not answer Maya's words, he just turned his face to wait for the red light to turn green.

"Are husbands not allowed to kiss their wives?"

Maya is stunned, their marriage has a time limit and it is appropriate for them to think if they are a real husband and wife?

Marve waited for Maya's answer, but Maya didn't speak even after the traffic lights changed color again.
