Chapter 22: Already Found

"The name's Inabikari IV... And I am the guardian of Genesis Academy." Well that was unexpected. I didn't thought even for a minute that he will say those last words to anyone. I mean, did he managed to get back his braveness? "How about you? What is your name? And what are you doing here at Genesis Forest? Have you got any missions to do? It is prohibited to enter here without the dean's permission." He said and although it was a long time ago since he left the school.

"How did he know about all of that?!" I am now having some weird thoughts with this man right here. I don't know if I should believe with him or not.

"Everyone calls me Death Sonata. And it is by chance the dean's permission to let me in the forest, because of some students whom they sent here for something." He explained, making me surprised. So they noticed that we have not yet arrived huh? "Now, you there, philopher of what's that again? What's your name-?"

"Daisy?! Where are you?" We all heard a loud shout of someone familiar.

"Are you here? Please answer us!" Then another, and then two more started to call me.

"You guys! I'm right here!" I shouted as loud as I can and we heard running steps towards our direction, until they were of sight.

"Thank goodness you're ok! We were very worried about you!" Guinevere said and hugged as tight as he could.

"I thought you didn't made it." Rose said and wiped her eyes to calm herself down.

"So tell us what happened here? Did a monster attacked you? What was the place seemed like? Was there something interesting that had happened?" Guinevere asked so many questions that all I could do was look at her with my head leaning sidewards.

"Who are these people? Did they hurt you?" Mye asked, and with just a blink of an eye, they all sorrounded me, as if they were protecting ke and was ready to keep me away from danger.

"We won't let you hurt our friend here!" Guinevere said and her hands glowed powerful purple! Then, an orb floated out on her hand, nothing i've seen before. Everyone also held unto the things we've found earlier. "Tell us, Daisy... What did they do to you?" She again asked and looked at the two who she meant.

"Guys, please calm down. They didn't-"

"I knew it! They blackmailed her! If she tells us the truth, they will slaughter all of us. But if not, theu will still kill us."

"Wait what?! No! That's not-"

"Everyone! We may not be able to know what these things may be of use. But what could it hurt to try, right?" Guinevere said and everyone nodded as an answer.

Traceler holding the Old Wonderer's Sword, Mye holding the Flute of Whisper's, Rose with the Whip of Rose, and Guinevere must've already had the Orb of Luminescence. While I... Have nothing new~

They were about to launch an attack when...

"Everyone please! They didn't do anything to me! In fact... They both helped me, and I also helped him." I said and pointed at Inabikari.

As i've expected, they all had that expression of surprise in their faces after hearing those words. "I've already had enough of all this madness. So please, i'm begging you... Let's head back to the academy." I could literally feel myself worn out by now, but I still need to get back to the academy or they will all be worried about us.

"Are you sure about that? What about your mission? What did you find?" Rose asked, and that made me feel embarrassed because I don't have any answer to that.

"Don't tell us you found none." Traceler spilled the tea, so I just hung my head low in front of them. "Unbelievable!" Was all he could manage to say.

"I wouldn't be surprised~ after all... The map also shows no sigh of what to find there." Guinevere said and patted me in the shoulder. "Good job for trying your best though!" She cheered and I just smiled sadly at her remark.

"Oh come on, cheer up! At least you did your best! That's all that matters!" Mye said and gave me that sweet smile she usually does when she cheers us.

"Traceler, say something you moron. You made her feel low~" Rose mentioned and looked at our boy-friend who is busy looking at the sky.

"You heartless punk!" Guinevere was about to walk near him with hands clenching. When Inabikari asked.

"May I see that map you're holding?" He said and Guinevere stopped at her tracks to go to his place. He checked all of the things in there and was surprised, we felt curious until he said... "You guys were looking for my cave?" We all look at each other with innocence, until I.

"E-Eeehhh?!?! All this time I was looking for a place that I already have reached?!" I said while holding my face with shock and feeling unbelievable. "Why would it be blank then?! What do I need to find here?! A plant? An insect? What is it?!" I said and looked above. "You gave me this kind if mission just for nothing?! I need a valid reason for this! I've waisted so much energy for nothing!" I admit that I was like someone abnormal this time. But I couldn't care more right now, I mean... They made me look for something that we don't know, and I will soon find out that I have been at that place all this time, and what'd worse, is that I don't know what we are looking for.

"Maybe the reason was to help me get back to the academy." Inabikari said, making me look at him. He is also now smiling, making me blush a bit. He's too cute. I can't disagree. "The map says to go here, but nothing was written as to what was needed to be found right? So maybe, it was me." He said and looked at the map again. "Also, those thing you found earlier were battle gears. You must be heading to Lady Aurora's Mountain huh?" He said, making us all surprised.

"How did you-"

"Simple! Because that things can only be used for purposes like fighting for the land, or if you want to reach the mountain safely." He explained as I try to ask him.  "And it turned out that you four will be the bearer of that things you hold right now. Because you managed to get those things with yourself."

"Oh no, not just us... Daisy helped us in getting these things." Guinevere said and puts his arms on my shoulder while having that big smile on her face.

"Oh? That seems interesting." He said and looked at me. "By the way, the real reason why I was needed to be found it's because you guys will leave the academy. I'm guessing that you five are the best team of the academy itself?" He asked and we all nodded unsurely. "And because of you leaving, the school will be vulnerable to every predators, making me have to guard the academy again "

He also talked about other stuffs about the academy, until we all agreed to walk back. But before that, Inabikari went back towards the cave to get something. We also burried everyone at the side of the cave and at first, everyone was surprised to see all of it, but was sad to know what really happened. Then we left the place.

"I just hope that everyone is still doing fine, now that Chang'e Moon is back at the skies again." Mye said and looked up with a worried expression. We didn't answer to this and just looked straight while walking.

I, on the other hand. Can't get off this feeling about the sonata guy... He's somehow familiar to me in a way that I would have known from the get go. I can't help but look at him everytime and think again. This is making me dizzy though, so I tried to stop the problem and just didn't think anymore.
