Chapter three: We meet again

Next day

Lari woke up at five, she barely slept last night as the event of yesterday was in her head and her interview today. Waking up from her bed she decided to make breakfast. After Finishing her morning task of brushing her teeth and washing her face, she went to the kitchen to make breakfast which was just Toast and bacon eggs with jam. after 30mins she was done and Abby walks in just in time to have breakfast. After they were done Abby opted to do the dishes and Lari went to get room to prepare herself since her interview is in an hour time. At 6:30 she was on her way out "Hey Abby am gone" "Take care, wishing you all the best and don't think too much cuz I know you will get this one. uhh before I forget am free today as my boss gave me a day off so after the interview come home so we could go celebrate your success. Love you" "ya, celebrate my success I hope" Lar boarded a taxi and in 15mins time she is in front of the company H. T INTER PRISE Making the sigh of the cross, she steps into the company. Going to the front desk she meets a lady I. her early 30s. "Hi am here for the interview" taking her eyes off the computer in front of her the lady at the front desk looked at her from head to toe before saying " Take the elevator 6th floor wait at the reception. *that look was not needed* thought Lari. *now I feel self-conscious. thanks a lot Lady* stepping into the elevator and pressing the floor number she was told, she stands at a corner and trying to memorize her answers to the questions that maybe asked. *oh God help me I really need this job I don't know what I will do if I don't get this one* the sound of the elevator pull her from her train of thoughts and short prayer. stepping out and going to the reception she is greeted by at least 15 people who are also here for the same job interview. Looking at how the ladies are perfectly dressed showing some flesh here and there and the guys who look nothing less than people fit for the job. With all this she starts questioning her Credentials. * ohhh Lord am I dress right, do I have what it takes, I don't even have the looks of a good company manager oh help God* taking her sit, she notice the kind of looks she receives from the other ladies in the room. One of 'Mockery' that is. the voice of the receptionist help to take off the eyes of the others from her *thank God* she thought. " OK ladies and gentlemen let's begin with the interview Miss Velma Black, you go in first. *oh Lord favor me* 5mins later Velma is out with a sad face * well that was short and I guess it didn't go well* Miss Joan Jonson you up.... five mins later she's out with the same look. Mr Joseph Clarke your up and thsame thing happen *ihm a quick guess the boss seems to be a bully and jerk guessing from what am seeing now* Miss Lari Wills "Huh" "Your next" gulping down nothing I step into the office. And guess who I see *Oh God why me?*

All this candidates are worthless, they don't have what I need and want. The ladies just flirt and don't even try to show their capability and the guy who just left was telling me his family problem 'chuckles' like that have anything to do with bring a manager. I hope the next candidate is fit like am going to kill someone for wasting my time. And like God could hear my prayers.

"go.. go.. good morning sir" she said and I like the site of her shacking. "well hello Lady how do you do? take a sit"

*Oh God why me??* "go..go..good morning sir" please don't remember me ohh please please. "well hello lady how do you do? take a sit" he said with shaking legs a walk over taking a sit in front of him and still praying to God, " well let's begin" he said breaking me from my thoughts *wait he didn't remember* "give me your résumé" "ihm you studied and graduated from one of the best schools here in the U.S, have no experience that can be taking care of. okay so miss..." he said drawing "Wills" "ahh miss Wills, so why do you want to work in H.T??"he asked " Well because I believe its one of the best in the country and with your work and my managing we can make it become number one" I answered "OK so why should I hire you?" he ask again " Cuz I have what it takes sure I have no experience but everything has a beginning and plus my level of education is a good Start" I answered "well like you said you have no experience so what can you offer my company cuz it looks like I am going to be the one to teach you how to manage a company. sure you studied management but with no practical" he ask * hmmm think Lari think ummmm" OK let's give me a try, I will work of two months with no pay. how is that?? "ihmm tempting but I will pass. Thanks for your time miss" he said *no no no I thought I had it I mean my proposition was OK right?! then what happened??* "Sir please ju..just think this through please I need this job" I begged "OK let me think thing through oh just like how you did yesterday" ahh he drop the bomb, so he remembered "am sorry about yesterday I didn't mean to, I had no money yesterday am sorry please" I begged again * oh no lady am not letting you go just like that. I need something that will make you stay close to me so I could torture you till my heart content. ihmmm aaaa yes you could be my PA. "okay let's forget about yesterday, how about I give you a different job. at least its better than nothing right??" he said Lari take the offer its better than nothing right "okay sir I accept" I accept at least I have a job..
