Prologue

Rylan barely remembers the days.

He used to visiting his maternal grandmother deep into the woods. She was the type of person who avoided gatherings. She preferred peace and quiet. Something that probably has something to do with her magic.

When Rylan was young, six years or so, he was obsessed with her abilities. He would go down to visit her every day. Until something happened. He doesn't know what. But their meet-ups were denied. The bond between his father and mother collapsed. Rylan couldn't take it any longer. So he went away to live with his grandmother. That was where his magic grew.

Then his grandmother died. He let himself loose on an adventure, never guessing what disaster might come in his way.
