Chapter 147

Layla looks at her friend Cynthia, the plan was to tell Lillian the truth of who she was alone and then ask for help against the Pyre kingdom.

" I'll tell her later since I want to get to know more of her character" Layla said standing up from her chair, she noticed a smirk on her friends face as she walked closer to her.

" whats so interesting" Layla asked as her friend giggles then holds out a small rectangular crystal, she then played the recording.

Layla's face turned blood red when she heard the moans and noise coming from Lillian and one of her companions, she waved her hand cutting off the recording while she takes a deep breath and then glares at her friend.

" get dressed your Majesty and do not drop your act in front of this woman since she is very perceptive, I'll go bring her over now....I would also like to have are personal armory make things for the five of them since the report stated the armor and weapons they bought earlier... we'll upgrade it to where even a fifth high rank beast can't even scratch it and also the weapons will be upgraded so mention that along with shields to go with the set." Layla said as she walks over pulling out a large case that held marble sized gems that radiated with power, she slides them over to Cynthia.

" I want these embedded into the armor to add more protection as well" Kayla said while Cynthia eyes grow wide then she clears her throat, she nods then takes her hair down and snaps her fingers where she is now in a elegant gown with a crown on her head then stores the large box of the powerful gems inside her storage ring.

Layla leaves the office making her way back to the dining hall where Kara waves at her then blushes while looking away when Layla smiles at her. Lillian gets up from her chair walking over to her while her tail is wagging back and forth, she nods at the other women and pulls Layla outside the room.

" ok is she ready to explain to me why she needs my help" Lillian said as she walks beside Layla who nods yes They head down a hallway she hasn't been down and when they get to the third door Layla knocks and then they both enter. Lillian looks at the blonde beauty sitting at the desk with a stern face while she slowly looks up from the papers she was working on.

" your Majesty, I welcome you to the city of light " Cynthia said while motioning for Lillian to take a seat in front of her desk, Layla walks over to stand beside the desk. Lillians tail smacks her butt when she walks away causing the woman to jump a bit with a gasp. Cynthia looks at the two with a confused look and she hasn't heard her friend gasp or blush like that since a few years ago.

Lillian smiles sweetly at the two then nods her head and then winks at Layla while Cynthia was pulling out the case of gems for Lillian.

Cynthia glances at Layla seeing her face red once again, she gets the idea of what she is going to do since her friend obviously likes this demon.

" we have to travel to a neutral place to have this meeting with the Prince and since no one knows what I look like Layla will go as me and I as her servant, you all must act as a loving couple so our story is believable and even though they are a strong breed of lava dragon kin your demon kingdom is more powerful than them." Cynthia said as Layla's eyes go wide then she glares at her friend and clears her throat.

" well I'm glad you came to help me, my kingdom is having problems with the prince of the Pyre kingdom...I'm willing to offer you anything I can to pretend to be my fiancee until they back off " Cynthia said again after Layla gave her that fix it look, she then motions to the case for Layla to tell her about the armor.

" oh Lillian I heard about the sets of armor you all picked up, her majesty wants the armory here to upgrade the sets and also add these gems that will make your hits and spells ten times stronger also your defense will sky rocket keeping you all safer. We also will supply you with our grandmasters apprentice of black smithing with a abundant supply of our strongest crystals and gems... anything you want that we can give will be yours for your help and also a partnership with you would be greatly appreciated" Layla said as she looked over at Lillian who kept her hooded eyes on Layla, Cynthia could tell that there was tension between the two women and she grew a little jealous since Layla was her ex girlfriend even though the friendship was more important since the relationship failed.

" yes I'll sign a partnership right now, for your offers and friendship...there is one more thing that I'd like " Lillian said keeping her eyes on Layla who began growing nervous under Lillians gaze.

" well I'm also looking for a assistant so if I find one can I take her with me to serve under me " Lillian said flickering her eyes back to Cynthia, Layla kicks Cynthias foot behind the desk.

" well I'm sure we can come to that when the time is right, here are the storage rings containing what I said also 100,999 sets of armor and weapons like the ones you all bought earlier their the same level as they are now but yours will be a hundred times stronger once we upgrade yours" Cynthia said handing Lillian a crate that has storage rings and some marble size gems inside of it, Layla walks over then points to each line of gems that have twelve different colors and ten in each set.

" these all have different uses and are of different elements as well, we included what each color does on this paper " Layla said handing the case over to Lillian who stores it inside of her storage, she winks at Layla then gives her the red set of Armor with the matching weapons.

" on our way back I'll get them off the others to give them to you" Lillian said as Layla hands her a few books with a name called glass formations on the cover.

" Lillian it was nice meeting you, I'll talk to Layla for a few minutes while I have someone take you back and to retrieve the other sets" Cynthia said while tracing her hand over the red gem armor, Lillian nods her head while Layla walks her out from the office where a woman with the same tight bun and a pair of glasses was waiting for her.

" Layla after your talk with her, maybe we could have a talk our selves " Lillian said while her tail caressed Layla's leg before Lillian walks away, she stands there as Cynthia grips her fist tight and clears her throat.

" do you like her " Cynthia asked a little harsher than she meant to and shakes her head with a sad smile then walks around the desk pulling Layla into a hug, she then kisses Layla's lips that was reciprocated into a deeper kiss. Layla pulls away while breathing harder then shakes her head as a tear slid down her cheek.

" I'm sorry Cynthia I - I need to go " Layla said quickly leaving the room, Cynthia starts to cry as she falls to her knees.
