Mio is about to be Exposed

Just as Mio was about to continue her way, she was stopped again but didn't flare up like what should have happened because she had already stopped doing what she wanted two times already, but since they are technically a part of her family, she didn't get mad. So she only looks at them with a casual smile, though if it was another person other than them, maybe she would have already smashed their head on the ground.

"Do you have something more to say to me, Principal Alice?" Mio simply asked as she was curious as to what she would say to her because she knew that Alice wanted to say something but was just too shy to say it directly, she could even see her trying to gain some help from her cousin to talk to her, but when she refused she puffed out her cheeks. Without any more choice, she looked at Mio in the eyes before started talking.

"Actually… we got some food on us here and we want to share it with you because we know that you are going to want some after such a hectic schedule. After all, as the Principal of this Academy, I still need to look after not just my students but also my Teachers. Would you like to join us?" Alice somehow managed to say all of her words without stuttering like what she expected to happen.

"Well, if you are going to offer it, then how can I refuse?" Mio chuckled as she easily accepted their offer since it would ease her problem of looking for some food and water for the two of them.

When Alice heard that Mio would eat with them, a smile rose on her face as she instantly felt so happy that she was glad that she asked Mio out to eat, because if she didn't ask her and been a coward, this wouldn't happen as she knows that Carol wouldn't help her.

"Come on cousin, if you're going to be so happy about this, hide it even just a little. You do know that you are smiling like a little girl right now, right?" Caro walked around Alice before whispering those words in her ear which made her bright red for a few seconds.

"No… I was just happy because she accepted my offer, nothing more nothing less. What are you even thinking about?" Alice acted as if nothing happened and gently pushed Carol away before leading the way toward her office so that they could eat in peace without anyone bothering them. She had already asked some of the Teachers who were there if they could look after the students while Mio was gone anyway, so there was no more worry there.

Their journey towards Alice's room was a quiet one as no one was talking along the way which made it awkward for Alice and Carol because the two of them are usually loud if they are by themselves, but now that Mio has joined them, everything was different. Plus there was Mio's little sister with them and because they didn't know how to interact with her, it just made everything quiet.

As for Mio, she was chill about everything since this was the kind of atmosphere she liked, quiet and peaceful, not the opposite way. But as for the sensitive Somi in her arms, she felt that the atmosphere was very weird, she could feel that the two women beside her wanted to talk with Mio, but it seemed that no one was willing to break the silence, she simply thought as to why as it seems that these 2 people are quite close with Mio because they had managed to convince her to come with them, at least that's what she thought.

When they finally arrived, Alice was the first to enter of course as she had the keys to her own room, and when they finally entered, Mio was surprised to see someone very familiar to her.

"Oh, have you brought the person that you wanted to invite?" Solar who has been patiently waiting in her daughter's room looked up and because she was sitting on the chair of Alice, she had a clear view of the woman and the little girl in front of her. When she saw her, she also froze, just like Mio.

But Mio had better control over her emotions and face, so no one could tell that she was shocked to see the person in front of her, but it was different for Solar who was so bad at hiding her emotions to the point where words even left her mouth that give it completely away.

"You, why is it you Mio?" Mio internally cursed Solar for being so dumb and letting her emotions get the better of her, she even wanted to say it aloud but she somehow managed to keep it in.

"Excuse me, what? You guys know each other?" Alice was also shocked to learn that these two women actually knew each other and even though she already had some idea that they might know each other, she didn't think that she would be right. But it wasn't just her, even Carol was shocked to know it too.

But their reactions were just normal as who would expect that Solar who was at the very pinnacle of the world would actually know someone like Mio who was just a Teacher. Even though it was kind of bad to say it, both of them knew that Solar was very old, and she was always busy, so she wouldn't have time to talk with other people, so it could only mean that Mio knew Solar for a very long time already. Which makes her also old, it could even be a possibility that she is older.

"Don't you fucking dare say who I am, do you got it?" Without anyone looking, Mio mouthed every word with the clear intent of warning Solar to not say a word about her identity, and Solar who was already about to explain how she met with Mio swallowed her words, and didn't say anything.

But when she realized that she was again dancing in the hands of Mio, she just looked at her before opening her mouth to say something, and when Mio saw that, she immediately knew that it was going to be something bad. The worst thing about it is that she can't even say something about it as it would only encourage Solar even more.

"Yeah… well, we are best friends after all. I didn't expect her to be a Teacher here though. An old woman such as herself is too lazy to do anything, so I guess she got bored of her life and went to be a Teacher. Did I get it right, Mio Nanase?" Those words just confirmed that the two know each other and Mio is actually old, not like what they see and think.

"What, how do you know her Aunty? If she is your friend, then I'm sure she is at the same level as you." Carol asked as she walked beside Solar before crossing her arms just to get the most important news out from her.

"I wouldn't say that she is at the same level because that is something you can decide on your own. But as for her identity, I'll give you this hint to let you know who she truly is… who is the person who founded and created the concept and idea for Magic Theory… The Grand Saintess."
