" Oh you two really did a job on poor tiny." The Potions Master said.

"TINY!!" Both Freya and Thor exclaimed in disbelief.

"Yes Tiny is my pet," he snapped his fingers and the snake shrunk down to the size of a cat and woke up. Seeing the potions master the snake made his way over to him and started wagging it's tail like a puppy. "Who's a good snake, hmmm who's a good snake?" It really was his pet" Alright come on up here tell me how they did." The snake did as he was asked and climbed up to the Potion Masters shoulder and started hissing in his ear." Oh I see, really, he did that hey, no you can't bite him he already passed. I'm sorry I'll get you some Lion Mice ok. I'm sorry I didn't think they'd be like that, no you can't bite her either. Stop pouting." Both Freya and Thor couldn't believe what they were hearing. "Excuse Tiny he's just a sore loser he won't really bite you." Tiny looked at them an stuck his tongue out at them. " Now, now be nice." Tiny got down and slithered away, he also looked very indignant at the moment. "I'm sorry about him he's just very proud of this trial he hasn't lost in nearly 2 decades so you can imagine how he feels right now." Both Thor and Freya nodded their heads, although neither believed it." Now it seems you've beat the previous record so all three treasures you'll be able to keep. However Thor you really put a beating on Tiny with that move you pulled, in fact Tiny asked for a pool of oil to be here from now on so he can slither through it every so often so that move doesn't happen again. That being said you'll get first and third pick." The Potions Master smiled. "I wish I could of seen the look on Tiny's face when that happened lately he's gotten a little to big for his britches, I mean do you know how much Lion Mice cost. O' well let's go see what's there is this time." The Potions Master walked over to the pedestals and placed his hand over top, finally the faint glow went away." Oh now this is a surprise, it seems you two did very well. Come on now I don't have all day, I left a new batch of potions brewing so I could come here and make sure you got your rewards." On the pedestals there were three objects.

Tooth can pierce most low level and even some

mid level armor well Nail cuts through the same

+ 20 to agility

Foresight can allow you to perceive one move

into the future. cooldown 30 minutes

The Twins(Bracelets) can be shared between two

people

Allows wearers to communicate directly no

matter the distance.

"Wait a minute aren't these items a little to on the nose" Freya couldn't believe how these items seemed to be directed at each of them purposely. "Especially the bracelets I mean, we couldn't have dreamed of better items."

"Well of course they are, you two were observed from the very beginning of the pathway, from the start till now the pathway has been deciding what you needed the most, it also took into consideration your wants. The bracelets are there because you two seem to need to yell at each other thereby alerting enemies of your presence. This is a trial for the Northern Knights, and as such will generally award you accordingly." The Potions Master shook his head. "These items are quite good even so. The swords i had previously told Thor about would only have helped him in dire situations, but other then that they would have been only slightly better then steel swords. Let's also be real right now your bow is a joke, have you even tried to upgrade it or did you think you could make it to the capital with such a lousy piece of equipment. Now come over here and take your rewards so I can get back to what I was doing. Damn whipper snappers don't know how to be appreciative." The Potions Master shook his head. Quickly Thor and Freya ran up to the pedestals, Thor grabbed the swords and bracelets while Freya grabbed the bow. Thor handed Freya one of the bracelets and put his on as well.

"They do look really good." Freya and Thor looked at each other then at the Potions Master. "What the hell old man!!" They yelled at him at the same time. He tricked us. Freya thought. Suddenly the old man turned back into Puck and he started rolling around on the floor laughing.

"You two should see the look on your faces!!" Puck was enjoying himself immensely. Both Freya and Thor tried to take the bracelets off, but they couldn't." Hahaha ha you'll need a grand master mage to get those off." It even looked like Tiny was laughing at them, if snakes could be said to laugh.

"Can you get these off of us?" Thor asked "How could you trick us like this?" Thor looked almost miserable.

"That's the thing I joined the Northern Knights because of this pathway, I didn't do a thing. I told you the pathway chose those items. I'm just in charge of sending new recruits here." Puck was laughing so hard tears were starting to come out of his eyes." It.... it always gives out an item like this, and is the reason I love being in charge of this test."

Let's get out of here I can't stand his laughing anymore Thor thought. Freya just nodded. Without another word to Puck they left.

"Hmmm those two really got the twins, that's wonderful. They may not like them now but in the future they'll probably never take them off." Tiny hissed in agreement, he also reminded Puck about the Lion Mice." Alright, alright I'll be back in a couple hours don't get your tail twisted about it." Puck was still in a great mood, maybe those two would finally free him from this boring life. His boss could sure be a jerk, wasn't 300 years long enough yet. I mean really I only gave them the wrong directions.
