III. (4) Tied Blood Lines

When Blue had set Ivory down, her jaw dropped. It was a huge, luxurious trailer. The seats were white and avant-garde shaped, and there were cabinets stocked with alcohol and drugs. A fridge was in the middle of the cabinets, and the couches had cup holders. In the back, there was a bedroom and a bathroom.

Ivory narrowed her eyes, wondering why she and Blue were in a mobile home. Something was telling Ivory that Lily's explanation about Blue wanting to marry Ivory was correct, but she needed that confirmation from Blue.

Blue locked the doors and ordered for the chauffeur to activate the child locks, so only the driver could open the doors. Ivory knew that she was stuck and believed that staying calm and relaxed would help her.

Blue sat down opposite of Ivory; fluorescent lights blinded Ivory's eyes. Blue first leered at Ivory, and then he narrowed his eyes.

"Why are you abducting me?" Ivory narrowed her eyes back.

She was tired of his games.

Blue laughed, which caused Ivory to stiffen. "Abduct you? You're a gang member; I can't abduct you, princess."

The chauffeur exited the garage and drove through the woods.

Ivory ignored his snide remark. "Okay, why are you taking me somewhere against my will?"

Blue leaned in closer. "I own you."

"What? No one owns me, Blue."

Blue chuckled with crossed arms. "I know that Leech told you about your parents, so I won't get into that."

"Did you know them?"

Blue grinned. "Our fathers' had a gang connection," he began as Ivory's round eyes widened. "Your father ran the mobster gang; Taobh Thoir they mainly took up the east side of Hell's Kitchen. My father negotiated with yours, and my father considered yours a connection up until your mother went psycho and told the police about the gangs."

"I assume that's how people know about the Blue Dragons."

Ivory figured that her father ran the Irish mobster gang; something about it felt close to her heart. That fact didn't surprise her.

Blue nodded. "My father had some men take your mother away; it's complicated to explain. Your father decided to cut contact, but gang members know that when a gang cuts contact, it means that they're hiding something. I was six when this all went down, and my father did some digging on your father. He found out that you were born right as everything was happening. Your father placed you into foster care with a good friend of mine."

"Ms. Campbell is your friend?"

"Yes, she's a gang member."

"She owns a foster home, there is no way that she works for you. Her job requires giving orphans loving homes, not placing them in danger."

Ivory refused to believe that Ms. Campbell was that shady; there was no way the woman that took care of orphans was a criminal.

"No one cares enough about orphans, so when the orphans turn 18, she recruits them in gangs all over the world. My father sent her an email a few hours after your dad gave you to her. Your father called my dad and told him everything; he wanted to keep you safe."

"So even if I hadn't run away from the orphanage, I would have been recruited anyway?"

"Yes, when you had turned eighteen, I was going to come and get you, but Ms. Campbell informed me that two boys saw you and Viper running away. Hawks and Lucky followed you. We had a gang member pretend to be a tourist while Hawks and Lucky stole from him."

Ivory couldn't believe what she was hearing, but she let the gang leader continue.

"I warned them of Viper's behavior, so they saw you both and went to work."

"When Hawks was chasing me, I bumped into Lucky. I assume that they weren't looking for her."

Blue laughed. "I forgot to mention that some orphans aren't recruited because of their behavior. Viper was rebellious and wanted to find her way, so Ms. Campbell let her. I told the members not to worry about Viper unless she went to the police. After Hawks and Lucky found you and brought you to me, I had some men follow Viper while she was on her way to the police station; Fox was with them, and they abducted her. That's when she was brought to the base."

"I want to know what happened to my dad's gang."

"Most of them are alive; they're in hiding. Ten of them and your mother were killed because they were going to betray your father. Your mother was mentally unstable, but my dad didn't go into detail."

Ivory was taking everything in as they hit a bump on the road. "There's one thing that I don't understand," she began as Blue looked at her, "Why do you want me in the gang? Is it because of my dad?"

"To keep gangs alive, gang members need a son. The leaders' usually marry other female gang members or the daughters of male gang leaders. That's why you're with me," he smirked.

Ivory gasped as she tried to run, but Blue stopped her.

"What would my dad say?" Ivory shouted.

"It wouldn't matter because your dad died of health problems when you were ten; I have the remaining mobsters working for me," Blue grabbed her face. "You aren't getting away, ever."

Ivory tried to move her face from him, but he wouldn't budge.

"You'll be well taken care of," he smirked. "I know that you'll forever be loyal."

"I don't want to have a kid with you."

"You don't have a choice."

Ivory tried to calm herself down, but Blue's evil presence didn't help. Blue sat down and forced her into his lap.

She refused to face him; she couldn't look at him.

Ivory tried to remove Blue's strong hold, but Blue held her closer to him. It was nearly impossible for Ivory to free herself.

Ivory wondered where they were going, only to see black curtains covering the windows. She tried to uncover one, but Blue grabbed her hand. He didn't want her knowing. She was nervous about what would come.

The air felt denser than it ever had before and sitting in the scary man's lap, and being told that she would forcibly give birth to his son didn't make the air better. There was something different; Ivory knew that her life had just taken a full 360.

Things were beginning to crumble, and Ivory wasn't sure if all of it would be good or bad. Ivory closed her eyes; Hawks filled her mind. She regretted not being there to say her last words. Ivory saw his smile and his big, crystal blue eyes. She missed him, and she hoped that he felt the same.

Her eyes closed as her left shoulder tingled again. Ivory went from being an orphan to a gang member, and now she would soon be the leader's wife. Everything was starting to unmask. Blue's secrets scared Ivory.

She wished she had never been so inquisitive, but it was too late. No matter what, Blue would have found her and made her his wife. Ivory was too scared to ask what was happening and why all but Red and Spike were leaving the Staten Island base, but she knew Blue would reveal that later.

The leader caressed her back as she started to calm down. Ivory hoped that the Blue Dragons didn't have any more mysteries and hidden truths. Suddenly, Ivory's body felt warm as Blue moved from her back to her ear, and he kept caressing her.

Ivory soon fell asleep and knew that when she awoke, she'd would be the most notorious gang leader's wife. Ivory knew that nothing and no one could save her. Even if someone wanted to protect her, Blue would kill them. The members knew what Blue would do, and that was what made Ivory vulnerable.

Ivory knew that no matter what, only death could help her escape.
