I. An Injured Accessory

Ivory's eyes widened as Viper gasped, while Hawks and Lucky looked shocked, but content.

"First, I need to test you in different departments. Fox," Ivory and Viper shot each other a look, "will accompany you on an apartment invasion with Ginger and Leech."

Ivory looked at the light-haired brunette, who smirked at her. The blonde got up, her head aching more than it did earlier; Red chuckled as Fox seemed amused; Ginger and Leech seemed bored.

Ivory began exiting the living room, getting a "good luck" from her friend and a "be careful," from Hawks and Lucky. She threw on her winter coat and black shoes, and left with the three larger men, seeing that they had guns and knives in their coat pockets. Ivory could barely talk from nervousness, but she didn't want to show how scared she was.

Leech handed her a ski mask and black gloves, and she held onto them as they entered a car. As they reached a ten-story apartment, she tied her hair up and threw on what Leech handed to her, concealing her identity. They snuck over to one of the buildings, and Ginger used his pocket knife to open a window on the third floor. Ivory felt her heart pound but said nothing.

Leech lifted her towards the window and told her to climb through, and she did, landing on a couch. Ivory then discerned that they research their victim's homes before sneaking in and taking valuables. Ivory wondered if the victims were random people or if Blue knew them. Blue didn't look like the type to hurt the innocent; gangs rarely do. Ivory felt that the family got intertwined for the wrong reasons.

The three men then instructed her to unlock the door, and she did what she was ordered too. Before she knew it, the three quietly entered. Fox took out his gun and said that he'd go with Ginger to wake up the family, and they quietly went into the bedrooms.

Ivory stood near Leech quietly as there were a few screams, but the screams quickly ended as Fox threatened to kill them all if they didn't be quiet.

Leech placed a large hand on Ivory's shoulder while the other handed her a big black bag, "Run into the bathroom and stay in there until the family is brought into the living room. Then, go into their bedrooms and look for anything worth stealing. Got it?"

She nodded and sprinted into the first room she could find, which was the bathroom. Her associates and the family's footsteps were heard: a woman was whimpering but was told to be quiet by Fox.

Ivory looked toward the bathroom window, and thought about jumping out and running away, but realized that idea wouldn't be useful, as the Blue Dragons knew Manhattan inside and out, and would find her and punish her, which would lead them to not trust her. If she wanted to leave, she needed their trust.

She inhaled deeply and quietly exited the bathroom. She entered the master bedroom first, saw how huge the bedroom was and how expensive everything the room inhabited was. Everything was top-notch and fashionable. She began looking through the jewelry box and took the precious jewelry, placing them into her pockets.

Ivory opened the closets and rummaged through all the handbags, clothes and shoes, and threw the most expensive-looking ones into the bag. She grabbed an expensive bag and threw the jewelry inside, then placed the purse inside the garbage bag. She went back into the bedroom and took their cellphones and laptops, putting them into the large purse.

After Ivory finished in the master bedroom, she dashed into the other room and saw that it belonged to a teen boy by the lack of toys and the messiness of the floor, clothes, and shoes all over the place, and a few wrappers in reach. She ignored the untidy room, rummaged around, and found the boy's cellphone and laptop, placing them into the bag. Lastly, he had a couple of watches on his dresser, and she snatched them, her black gloves covering them as they were dropped into the black bag.

Ivory heaved the bag, feeling the potential she made. She felt guilty, but if she didn't obey, she'd be punished, and she refused to face any consequences. Blue wanted her trust, and she'd give her assurance. She'd get out, eventually, but now, survival was essential. If Blue felt that Ivory was liable, he'd protect her.

Ivory put everything into the black bag, and walked out of the boy's room, seeing the bright lights in the living room and entered with the bag on her shoulder, noticing how exquisite, fancy and expensive the apartment was. Not to mention that it's spacious, and only held three people.

The family was on the couch, Fox and Ginger pointed guns at them as Leech took the bag from Ivory and observed the expensive goods inside. He smirked, "Nice work, Little Lady."

"Please, let us go!" the woman pleaded while crying.

"Shut up!" Fox held the gun to her head.

The wife cried harder.

The husband shot up, "Leave her alone!"

Leech walked over and hit him across the face with his gun. The older man fell to the floor, blood visible through his hand as it held his cheek.

"Dad!" the boy yelled, but Ginger held him back.

"Are you done yet?" Leech sneered, causing the family to become silent. He smirked, "Now since we have gotten everything that we need from your apartment, you will empty out your bank accounts and give us money."

Leech smirked and grabbed the man by his shirt. "I'll make sure that you never see your family again and that you won't live another second. You don't know what I could do to your loving son and precious wife," he spat in the man's face, "don't take my threats lightly."

The man's eyes widened. "How much do you want? I have cash."

Leech narrowed his eyes. "You have sixty thousand in cash?"

Ivory and Ginger looked at one another. Ivory knew what that meant.

The man nodded, but Ivory knew better. They couldn't trust this man. Leech held his gun to the man's head.

"I don't believe you."

"I'm not lying! I promise!"

Leech looked towards Ivory, "Go with him. I don't trust him. Make sure he gives you all the cash that he has. Whatever he doesn't pay in cash, he'll pay out of his Credit card," Ivory nodded as Leech handed her his gun. "Use this if you need too."

The older man slowly got up as two other guns were pointed at his family, one at his wife and the other at his son. He led Ivory to his bedroom and pulled a safe out from under his bed, making Ivory wonder why she didn't check under the bed before but realized that it didn't matter because Leech wouldn't leave without money anyways.

The man opened the safe, blocking the opening with his massive body. Suddenly, he faced Ivory, a gun in her face. Her eyes widened, seeing that they were played, her intuition correct about the man.

He narrowed his eyes at her, "I don't know why you're doing this, but I am not afraid to shoot and use my gun, kid."

Ivory sneered. "First off, I'm not a kid. Second of all, you have no choice but to hand over your money. I knew you didn't have anything in cash. Give me what you've got — if you do have cash — and nobody gets hurt," She then raised the gun to his face.

Ivory felt nervous but knew that if this man tried to hurt her, she had no choice but to shoot him. She could hear Viper's voice from a distance, telling her not to do it. Ivory ignored the pleas, and the sound got quieter until it disappeared as a whole. He slowly walked over to his closet, Ivory's heart pumping quickly, and she pulled the trigger, just in case he tried anything. The rich man reached for something at the top corner of the closet, but turned around and pulled his own trigger.

Before anything could happen, they both fired their guns.

Leech looked by the hallway alarmed and scurried into the room, seeing the old man shot in the chest, blood quickly dispersing onto his shirt, breathing slowly. Ivory was on the floor, her arm bleeding rapidly. Ivory moaned, feeling the bullet's intensity.

Leech shuffled into the living room and pointed his gun at the man. "So, you want to play games?" he shot the man in the head.

The man cried out as his wife screamed for him. Ginger covered her mouth as Fox told him to erase her memory.

She sank to the floor, "Please, please," but she was pinned down to the ground by the two men.

The son jumped on Fox, yelling for him to release his mom. Ginger threw the son onto the floor and punched him. The boy fell unconscious, and Fox drugged the unconscious son and then screaming wife, telling her, "We'll be back!"

Leech was outside, running while holding Ivory.

Fox and Ginger hopped out the window, and they quickly caught up as faint sirens were heard.

"I have the man's wallet," Ginger tossed it to Fox. "I'll have Rover hack into the account when we get back to the base."

Leech ran into the car as he held Ivory.

Ivory clutched onto her arm, "Leech —"

"You'll be fine, I promise," he said as she rested against his chest. Fox sped back to base as Ginger checked Ivory's wound, hoping that her injury didn't worsen.
