The Original Truth
Alice came to the tournament and went straight up to her appointed room and knocked on the door. Elgin opened the door and she quickly came inside and punched Aliyah who was in Alice's disguise. Aliyah looked at her in horror and asked, "Why have you punched me, idiot woman?" Alice said angrily, "Because you are bent on ruining my life forever. What was the necessity of teaming up with Biba Blaze and making it such a big headlines in every fucking sports news channel?" Aliyah said, "She herself offered her help and I accepted it. Anyway, I have no problem teaming up with someone inferior to me. I'm quite humble, you know that." Alice said, "Yes, I have seen all types of your humbleness. The good one, the bad one and the one where you decide to fuck with everyone's lives." Aliyah said, "Mind your tongue, young lady." Alice said, "In case, you haven't noticed yet. You are fighting in the octagon alongside Biba as me, a young teenager who has no knowledge of fighting, let alone professional fighting at all. If you fight well, I will be a professional fighter and then I will have to live a life of fighting and getting injured." Aliyah smiled, "You are going to kill a demon and not just some ordinary demon, but the evil and dangerous Xao Chang and you are afraid of getting some punches and kicks from such pathetic weasels." Alice said, "These pathetic weasels are my kind. I don't know what kind your people were, but my kind is enough for me."
Aliyah said, "Then, what is your plan? I should go and quit the tournament?" Alice said, "Actually I should have killed that fat principal of mine when she forcefully persuaded me to join the tournament which I'm clearly loathing at this moment." Aliyah said, "Your fight is not with these people, but with your own destiny. You are born to end the evil and dread of Xao Chang and perish his terror from the world. Believe it or not, fighting and killing is in your fate and you cannot defer it no matter how hard you try to be." Elgin said, "You go, Aliyah. You are getting late for the match. I will enlighten Alice with the true nature of her importance to this world." Aliyah smiled and kissed Alice's head and went away.
Elgin looked at Alice and said, "I won't bore you with unnecessary details and long stories. As a matter of fact, you are not a part of this story. Nor am I or anyone, not even the demons. It all started when two equally powerful forces clashed and a huge war started. One side was fighting for the upliftment and protection of the tiny yet hugely essential mortals while the other force was fighting for the elimination of the mortals. The war went on for several millennia and when it finally ended, the antagonistic side was doomed to eternal damnation and their leader was imprisoned in a volcano. But, the leader never conceded defeat and was trying his best to release himself and destroy the mortals who he hates very strongly.
He couldn't find any help for another hundred or two hundred years because no one was corrupted and everyone lived a life of peace and selflessness. But, when the tiny and innocent mortals started questioning their origin and their creators, they diverted from their path of truth and justice and soon they started questioning their gods. The confusion created a huge void in their peace and to fill that void, they started snatching other people's peace and soon accumulated a life of greed, lust, selfishness and corruption. Soon, the mortals started killing each other in the name of their gods and even divided their gods according to their benefit. The gods seldom responded and this accelerated the corruption to such an extent that soon the mortals who were haters of evil, started worshipping the evil and as if written in fate, soon a certain cult of people became obsessed with releasing their enemy from the volcano in which he is imprisoned.
Soon, mortals started looking for ways to release their new god from his age old prison and started sacrificing themselves in his name. But, nothing happened. No "god" appeared nor did any of his messengers come to visit them. Till, one day, a fanatic went to the top of the volcano and dropped his newborn baby boy in the volcano in the name of his god. But, still nothing happened. The fanatic got so disappointed that he cursed and challenged his god's existence and jumped from the volcano and committed suicide.
But, his god was real and very much happy. Soon, the sky started turning red like fire and all the trees and vegetation caught fire and soon all the animals and mortals started screaming as the whole atmosphere reached unbearable heat and the oxygen and water all started disappearing from the land. The whole scene looked like Hell itself descended on Earth. The volcano came alive and thousands and thousands of blood demons raised from the dead and soon they started creating chaos all over the world. The innocent and good people ran towards their houses and temples to pray for their and their family's safety, but the demons devoured them and turned them into blood demons. The whole world was coming to an end, when in the middle of a dense forest, a woman was running from the blood demons.
She was pregnant and the blood demons had killed her husband when he tried to protect her from them. She couldn't run much faster due to her pregnancy and it seemed like she was soon going to be in labor. She entered an old and abandoned temple which was long ago abandoned and was partially destroyed by the fanatics. The lady begged before the stone for her unborn baby's life and soon fell unconscious. The blood demons jumped on her, but a huge wave of crimson dust burned them and covered the lady. The stone started to break and a young lady emerged from it and crouched near the pregnant woman and kissed her forehead. She then touched her belly and took out a dagger and tore her belly. She took out the baby and blessed her with a divine soul. She chanted some words and stabbed the dagger deep inside the heart of the baby and then transformed into crimson dust and entered the baby's body and soon the baby transformed into a young and beautiful girl. She took out the mother's spine and made a spear from it. She then inserted the spear in her heart and became the first bearer of the Blood Spear.
She roared like a lioness and killed every blood demon she saw and soon she reached the volcano from which the blood was flowing and corrupting the land. She ran towards the top of the volcano and was about to stab it when a huge force pushed her down. She looked and saw that the baby which the fanatic sacrificed has become the host of that evil force and transformed into a huge dragon and landed on the land. The girl said, "Xao Lin." The dragon transformed into a muscular, bald man with a huge tattoo of a dragon on his back. He smiled, "Manaca." The girl ran and then a huge duel started between them two which involved lots of bloodshed and scars, but in the end, the girl trapped him in the volcano once again and made the world the same as before.
She transformed the blood demons into elves, humans and some humans like celestial beings which eventually departed from the world after healing and sanitizing the world from any remains of Xao Lin's evil forces. The same story repeated and soon some elves became corrupt and became known as ogres. The ogres were also believers of Mother Manaca and lived by her principles, but they were carnivorous and also were fond of alcohol and unmarried sex. While many scholars at that time believed it to be nasty and unacceptable for any elf to indulge with. But with time, even elves started following the ogres and enjoyed the vices that they should have avoided otherwise. At first, the elves who were caught in the company of ogres were either executed or banished from the elf community, but when the new definition of the religion emerged, things got quite lenient and they accepted these variations with open arms. Marriage and sexual relations between ogres and elves became common and the children born from these relationships were considered a different tribe which later became the "Shinigano" and the ones born from an ogre father and elf mother became to known as "Shuken". They were the original ones and were much bigger and stronger than the people you have seen.
Their relationships were quite strained with both Shinigano and the elves due to their different ways of eating and living, but they liked and respected the trade relations with us and Shinigano. Aliyah's great great grandfather, King Emalacapa wrote and issued a set of laws and regulations which brought many new changes that were disliked by many, especially the ogres who thought that the new rules were quite favourable for the elves in comparison to the other communities. Many small revolts and rallies occurred in the kingdom in protest to the new rules and regulations, but none of them caused any anomaly to the kingdom or its administration. But, it was just on the surface but deep inside, a little spark took place and it was the beginning of the worst. Some power hungry ogres incited talks of revolution and an appeal for a new kingdom for ogres which would have its own king and separate administration and will be free to have a commercial relationship with the elf kingdom. King Emalacapa was against this notion and avoided this topic till the end of his reign which made him an obnoxious ruler in the eyes of the ogres.
After Emalacapa's death, seventeen rulers took the throne and failed to do anything about the "ogre" situation. This inability created a huge anarchy between the ogres and elves and a new leader rose amongst the ogres, the tyrannical Gigantus who in his hunger for power started torturing his own kind and conducted many experiments to make himself more powerful. He managed to make some changes in his body but paid a much bigger price for it. He became enormous and had difficulty walking, sitting and even sleeping. He somehow managed to have two children, one of which is Krymon's ancestor. He became quite weak due to starvation but still managed to kill half of the army when King Jalacapa attacked him. He then died in the prison due to a heart attack induced by his absurd choice of medicine which he was taking for a long time, the cell in which he died later became a shrine for the ogres who started considering him some kind of greater person or something of that sort. Then, King Jalacapa came, King Alacapa came and the rest is history."
Alice asked, "Why are you telling me all this all of a sudden?" Elgin smiled, "Because, I want to let you know that you are not alone. Many have chosen the path of the Blood Warrior before you and that you are not the first but surely can be the last." Alice said, "Of course. That's something I understand but why not think of a better way like negotiation with Xao Chang?"
Elgin smiled, "He is a monster, Alice. Negotiation is not his thing." Alice said, "I don't know why there is evil in the world. The world would have been such a good place if there was no evil in it." Elgin said, "Looks like you didn't listen to my words carefully. Evil comes from the greed and selfishness of the people, mostly the ones who are quite egotistical and fragile minded. I don't think there would have been any evil if there was fulfillment for all. But again fulfillment is also bad because then people will lose their faith in their gods and that will again lead to anarchy and the rise of evil." Alice asked, "Then, what is the solution?" Elgin smiled, "There is no solution. People are the embodiment of both good and evil and it's up to them to choose their nature and lead a life of righteousness and peace and not of injustice and chaos." Alice said, "Let's go and see what Aliyah and Biba Blaze are going to do inside the octagon." Elgin smiled, "Yes, let's go." They opened the door and went outside.....
