An Unexpected Ally

Biba Blaze was watching the whole fight carefully in her room. She looked at her trainer, Sara Vladimir who was once a renowned fighter herself and now is training Biba Blaze. Sara said grimly, "She's good. Her attacks were not fancy and was properly executed. Alexa shouldn't have underestimated her." Biba said, "Try your best to fix my fight with this young lady. I want to personally see what skills she has." Sara looked at the schedule and said, "That may be impossible. Her next fight is with some guy named Baba Yaga. He looks quite dangerous and I'm damn sure that he will beat her to a pulp." Biba looked at Baba Yaga and said, "What the fuck. Guys like him are fighting in the tournament. What type of criteria are they following for the selection of the fighters for the tournament?" Sara said, "They gave an open invitation to anyone who thinks he or she is capable enough to fight with the professional fighters and if they win the final then they will win 50 million dollars as the winning prize." Biba said, "But, this guy is very strong. Whoever fights with him will surely visit heaven." Sara smiled, "Don't worry. You don't have any fight with him and nor do anyone except Alice and that too for only one match." Biba said, "What? This guy is going to fight only Alice and that too for only one match? Why? Are the sponsors trying to kill her or what?" Sara said, "Maybe." Biba said, "I cannot let such hideous crime happened in my knowledge. Search for this girl and if possible conduct a meeting with her. If possible, we will fight together this hideous monster." Sara said, "Don't tangle yourself with some random girl who is not even in your contact list." Biba said, "Then, I want her to be in my contact list. Go and bring back her number." Sara sighed and went outside the room. Biba mumbled, "Fighting has degraded so much that they are now killing people in guise of fighting tournaments."

Elgin said, "Alice won't go to meet someone who is too arrogant to come by herself and meet her." Sara asked, "Who the fuck are you?" Elgin said angrily, "The "fuck" who trained her to fight." Sara asked, "So, you are her trainer? You don't look like a trainer and more like a water boy. No muscle, no scars. Where did you fight? Video games?" Elgin went near her and said, "This skinny guy has defeated people both older and stronger than you. So, stay in your bloody limits, girl." Sara pushed him and said, "You stay in your bloody limits, moron. Once I start beating, you won't even remember your name." Elgin said, "Sad thing that you don't know me or else you would have not dared to speak these words." Sara said, "Then, why don't you show me your power, Mr. Only Talk, No Show?" Alice came and pulled them apart and said, "Stop fighting like wild cats, you two. Tell Biba that I will meet her in half an hour from now." Sara said, "You better come in time. Biba doesn't like patience." She went away.

Elgin asked angrily, "What were you thinking, Aliyah? I could have taught her a lesson today." Aliyah said, "Since you took Rocky's appearance, you have started acting like a complete idiot." Elgin said, "So, I'm an idiot now. What if Biba is one of the demons and it is a trap for Alice? What if she uses some nasty tricks and harms her so that she couldn't participate in the tournament any longer?" Aliyah said, "That's why I will go in her place. I have sent Alice, Trisha and Elena home so that they stay out of any demon's radar till the end of the tournament. If Biba is really one of my enemies and is planning something nefarious, then she is going to die a very painful death." Elgin asked, "What if she is more powerful than you? Xao Chang's minions are quite more powerful than you and you have already got a taste of earlier." Aliyah smiled, "I fought those psychos when I was just a teenager, what makes you think I will stop now?" Elgin said, "I will go with you. I don't know why but my intuition is suggesting otherwise." Aliyah smiled, "The more, the merrier." Elgin and Aliyah went outside and walked towards Biba's room and knocked on it.

Sara opened the door and they walked inside the room. Biba was still watching the fight between Alice and Alexa. She turned towards Alice and said, "You sure don't look like the person who can defeat a person like Alexa Claymore." Alice smiled, "Appearances can be deceptive." Biba laughed, "Not in this line of business, my dear. Here, you either earn it or not. No middle ground or deceptive appearances present." Alice said, "Well, then I have earned it. If Alexa was such a pro fighter, then that makes me a tough opponent for you. Isn't it?" Biba laughed, "You are overestimating your power, young lady. Just because you defeated Alexa, doesn't mean you can do the same with me. I can defeat you easily even blindfolded." Alice asked, "So, you called me here to boast about yourself?" Biba said, "Kind of yes and no both. But, the important topic is that someone is out there trying to kill you and from what I have learned, he is someone from the sponsors." Alice asked, "How do you know that? And why are you so concerned for me?" Biba said, "I know that because I'm quite experienced and know much about this dirty game of professional fighting. And, secondly, I'm not always so generous and think about my opponents well-being. But, you are new and quite young to be a part of such a gruesome conspiracy, especially the one that will end with your death." Alice asked, "How can you be so sure about it?" Biba said, "The opponent that you are going to fight with is not some normal guy. He has no records whatsoever and allegedly is here only to fight you. He is very dangerous and freakishly strong. You can barely survive in a fight with you." Alice said, "But, why should I trust you? You don't have a good reputation regarding your friendship and companionship." Biba laughed, "You really believe those idiots and lying bastard journalists who like to earn money by spreading wrong and baseless news about us celebrities." Alice said, "Okay. But what's your plan?"

Biba smiled, "I had many plans but unfortunately for both of us, only one plan is the most legitimate solution now." Alice asked, "What is it?" Biba said, "More entertainment means more money and there is no sponsor on Earth that will reject an idea to earn more money." Alice said, "Okay. But, come to the point." Biba said, "Yes, I will. Once you stop interrupting me. The plan is to put forward a proposition to have a dual fight much like a tag team match in professional wrestling tournaments. You have proved your worth by defeating a fighter much higher than you and I'm Biba Blaze myself, so the sponsors will not disagree with our proposition and this tournament will also fill our pockets with a ton of cash." Alice said, "But, are you sure you want to fight my opponent?" Biba smiled, "We fighters are definitely in the business of hurting each other, but we don't hurt anyone innocent or weak." Alice asked, "Then, which category do I fall into?" Biba replied, "Both." Elgin and Sara started laughing. Alice said, "Okay. I personally admire you quite a lot. Your accolades are remarkable." Biba smiled, "Good learns from great. You don't have to thank me." Alice smiled and walked outside. Alice said, "This nonsense woman is so egotistical. If she wasn't being polite and useful, I would have broken her jaw." Elgin smiled, "Relax. Biba is right. You cannot fight someone like that monster all alone, not because you are not capable but because a normal human cannot defeat that monster." Alice looked at him and said, "I don't like to be under people's favors, especially people inferior to me. Anyway, if Biba wants to fight alongside a legend like me, she is more than welcome to fulfill her wish." Alice disappeared in purple smoke. Elgin smiled, "And she says that Biba is the egotistical one." He walked away and ignored the black smoke hiding behind him in a corner and listening to their conversation. He disappeared.

Gongamtei appeared and said, "These idiot people are always interfering in my work. I'm fed up with them." Assayah looked at Gongamtei and smiled, "A powerful assassin like Gongamtei is fed up with some "idiot" mortals." Gongamtei said, "They are not ordinary mortals. They once defeated a large army of blood demons led by you, Kayuba and Kenchi." Assayah asked, horrified, "Manacans?" Gongamtei smiled. Assayah said, "Now I understand why that puny girl was being so hard for us to kill. Who came here?" Gongamtei said, "Elgin." Assayah asked, "Who?" Gongamtei said, "That dangerous wizard. The young boy who defeated Chyla and killed her twin sister, Myia. His brother was also responsible for the deaths of our two powerful warriors. Him being here means that the elves are still somewhere near and we failed to annihilate all of them." Assayah said, "That's why I told Bacca to properly check for any loose ends and kill any hidden enemies, but he got furious and demoted me to be the manipulator and commanded me to stay on Earth." Gongamtei said, "There is another one present here. Her name is Aliyah. The daughter of King Alacapa. The previous spear holder and a very skillful warrior." Assayah said, "I know her. She once set a whole camp of ours on fire and I still remember the day she almost killed me." Gongamtei said, "The past is not important now. Alice was having a secret meeting with Biba Blaze and when I eavesdropped, I got to know that Biba and Alice are teaming up to fight our fighter together. They are planning a two versus one fight." Assayah said, "So, what? Baba Yaga is capable of fighting hundred mortals at once." Gongamtei said, "The problem is not his capability, but we cannot show our power like this to the mortals. Now, is not the right time for revealing our true prowess."

Assayah asked, "Then, what are you proposing?" Gongamtei said, "If they want to fight in duo, then why not we add one more fighter in the octagon with Baba Yaga?" Assayah smiled, "You want to fight?" Gongamtei said grimly, "I wished I could. But, my presence is needed beside Isabella tomorrow as she is going to have a preliminary training session, all thanks to her paranoid mother and idiot step father. Anyway, she is too weak to fight with me and I don't like to win easy. But, I have a friend of mine who is quite eager to try his new skills in the octagon." Who is he?" Gongamtei whistled and a young lad wearing a wollen jacket and leather boots. Gongamtei said, "His name is Glaseon Martins. I met him while I was running away from an unprecedented incident and met him under a grave. He died at a young age and was an assassin like me. Anyway, I took him under my wing and trained him in my secret martial arts and now he is ready for his first exam." Assayah said, "So, he is your apprentice." Gongamtei said, "Kind of. But, I want a totally new guy to train him and make him capable of being the best in the world. Then, my master's soul will be finally satiated." Assayah smiled, "Okay. I will enlist his name with Baba Yaga. Let's see what can Aliyah save her little lamb now." They laughed....
