Pack meeting

Dahlia and her father came to the conclusion, that it was best for the pack, if they held a meeting for everyone to attend. Dahlia already informed her soilders of the situation. Jackson has taken lead defense of Ravenwood, just incase a potential invasion happens. The pack meeting is due to happen at 3:00pm today. That's only in an hour and I'm completely not prepared to face them all. I'm really nervous, I haven't really addressed the whole pack before, not without mom by my side. "You ready for today?" My dad asked snapping me out of my mental torture. "Yeah, just a little nervous. What am I supposed to say?" Dahlia asked her father. "Well, you just got to be honest with them" my dad said. "Okay, and then what?" Dahlia asked. "Follow your gut and heart" my dad said. "You make it sound so easy" Dahlia said. "Sweetheart, that's because it is. Their your family. It's like talking to your family" my father said. I think about what my dad said, it does make sense and I don't know why I'm so worried about talking to them. They've welcomed me with open arms. "You're right dad, I'll try to stop over thinking everything" Dahlia says, a little bit more with confidence. "Do you want to head over and check the defense towers the soilders built and from there we can go have the pack meeting?" my father asked. Dahlia thought about it for a minute. That sounds like a great idea. "Sure, I think it will help me walk off the nerves" Dahlia stated. Dahlia and her father headed for the front door of Ravenwood. My dad open the doors and we were greeted with the Ocean's mischievous breeze. "God, it so nice today" Dahlia said. "It would be a great day for a run" my dad said wiggling his eyebrows. "That would be awesome! We haven't done that in a long time" Dahlia said. "After we take care of our obligations today, we will go for a run. You can even invite the soilders if you want" my father said. "Speaking of soilders, I'm going to make some cuts from my royal guard" Dahlia said catching her father off guard. "What! why, what about the lucky 13?" My dad said shocked. "With everything we are going to face, I feel less is more. We also need the elite to keep the pack safe. Constantly having them go back and forth, I can tell is putting too much strain on them. Their too proud, to tell me otherwise" Dahlia stated. "Who are you keeping on?" my dad asked curiously. "That's a good question, I actually haven't decided yet" Dahlia said. "I'll know when the meeting starts" Dahlia said. "Does Jackson or Paige know?" my father asked. "No, you're the first person I've told, but I've been thinking about it a lot lately" Dahlia said. "I can see why you would be concerned" my father said. "If you think about it, I don't even need guards. They should use their skills on who needs it the most" Dahlia said. "Baby girl, I know this will be hard on you, but after your reasonings, I'm so proud of how much you care for others and how much you've grown" my dad said hugging me. "Right, let's go look at the defense towers" Dahlia says fighting back tears. My father and I take in the breeze as we walk to where the soilders have been working hard. As we approach, giant hand crafted towers come into view. "Jackson" Dahlia yells with her hands around her mouth. Jackson stops what he's doing and looks in the direction of my voice. He throws up a hand and starts to come down. What a show off, he just jumps right off of the tower. It's easily a 15ft drop. I face palm myself and shake my head at him. I watch as he approaches. "I'm sure the ladder was an inconvenience?" Dahlia sarcastically says. "Just wanted to get down quickly, didn't know the urgency" Jackson said. "We wanted to look at the towers you put up" My father said. "Right, well here they are, we have a total of 12, that encompasses the entire Island" Jackson said. "That's impressive" my father said. "You guys did that pretty fast" Dahlia said. "Well, we wanted to hurry because we don't know what's going to happen" Jackson said. "Good thinking" Dahlia said. "Make sure to be at the pack meeting" Dahlia said. Jackson gave Dahlia a look of suspicion and nodded his head in agreement. "It's almost time for the meeting" My father said reminding me, looking at his faithful wrist watch. "Right, let's not keep the pack waiting" Dahlia said. Dahlia and her father made their way towards the water mirror, to arrive at the pack meeting on time. They break the threshold, of the water mirror and come face to face with the entire packing waiting for them. Dahlia and her father make their way to the podium to prepare to give the pack all the information they've found out. Hopeful, the meeting goes well...
