Chapter 1: Locket

He was cooking his breakfast in his apartment after he woke up from his sleep.

He had small smile on his face as he cooked the food.

Soon, his breakfast was cooked and he carried a plate filled with a some toasts with boiled eggs.

He put them on the table and was going to sit down on couch but before he could sit, his foot slipped and he fell on the floor.

BAAAM!

He fell really heavily on the ground. After a moment of trying, he sat up on the floor.

"Man, this sucks." He spoke.

He looked at the locket hanging on his neck and cursed, "Shit! It broke."

He grabbed the locket.

He inspected it and saw something through the crack that just formed after he fell.

He opened the locket and there was a photo of three people. One was a middle age man and other was a middle age woman, lastly there was a teen boy.

On it, a sentence was written with black marker.

"Alan's Sweet Family."

He carefully grabbed the pocket and pulled it out slowly showing how much he care about it.

He then saw a folded piece of paper inside the locket. This paper was hidden between back of the locker and the photo, so he couldn't see it until now. His mother really liked thing like these! She always watched movies that involved suspense and movies in which someone got a letter from her late parents or relatives.

He sighed remembering about this trait of his mother.

He unfolded the paper with trembling hands. He had a feeling what it was!

He just hoped that it should be what he felt was!

He still remembered how his mother died in of him. His mother, who was everything to him, who was his life, who was beacon of life for him died just like that!

His light was enveloped by darkness for eternity. His mother who always seemed to be smiling like a bright sun couldn't stop the moon from taking its place. His day was turned into night.

His light was turned into darkness. His happy life was turned into a life filled with sorrow and pain.

Even though, his father had died but still his mother and he was happy and then, his mother also left to meet his father and left him alone in this cruel world.

This is a world where it seemed that there is no darkness but everyone know darkness is present everywhere.

After a couple of seconds, the paper was unfolded. The paper looked quite old.

He read the paper and reading the paper his eyes widened;

[ My dear son, this your beautiful mom, I want to write alot but this paper is a bitch and there isn't much choice. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that with this letter there will be a card. Just press on it and a woman will come. Her name will be Ignis Flare. Just give her your name and she will tell you somethings. Okay, mom have to end it now. Bye-bye ❤️.

Tears threatened to fall from his face as he read the paper again and again.

He composed himself and looked at the locket again and saw a card.

He picked up the card and stood up. As instructed, he pressed the card and soon, he felt something changing inside his room. He frowned sensing this.

After a moment, he saw a woman appearing from what looked like to be a portal.

Following the woman was a maid that had neutral look on her face.

"I thought it would be sooner, though." The woman at front spoke.

She had long blonde hair and blue eyes. She had breasts that seemed to be G-cup and a thick thighs and a voluptuous ass that was really big. She had a pale white skin. She seemed to be 180 cm tall. Her beauty could be said catastrophic. Alan had never seen a woman so beautiful.

She looked at her surroundings.

"Who are you?" Her attention was drawn at the man who had silver hair and blue eyes.

"Oh? So, you are Alan Alvarez, right?"

Alan nodded with a neutral look and spoke, "Your name?"

"My name is Velvette Flare, daughter of Ignis Flare." The woman named Velvette spoke with a small smile that seemed so beautiful that the world seemed to stop to appreciate her beauty.

However, Alan didn't give her more than a glance and spoke, "So you are Ignis Flare's daughter?"

Velvette nodded.

"Hmm. Okay. So, what was it that your mother wanted to talk about?"

"Oh? About that. Let's sit down first. It will be a long story."

Alan nodded and sat on the couch while Velvette sat on the couch opposite to Alan and the maid stood behind her.

The portal had already closed after the woman and maid exited it.

"So?"

"Yes, let's start from start. My mother told me that my mother and your mother have set our marriage."

"Oh?...Wait, what?" To say Alan was baffled would be an understatement.

What marriage? What? How? Why? He never heard of it! His mother also didn't tell him.

He wasn't ready yet! At least, he needed sometime. Even though, he didn't want a family to fill the hole in his heart but he didn't believe in forced relationships.

"I know your mother didn't tell you. Anyway, from what I heard from mother I have to transform you into a vampire. So, first we will do that." Velvette spoke and disappeared from her place.

"Wha-?" Before he knew it, he felt a chop on the back of his neck and his vision turned hazy and after a moment, his vision turned dark.

"Lady Velvette, please don't be so fast. You just knocked him unconscious without any explanation." The maid sighed.

Velvette always seemed to be doing things in haste. Haste is a waste, you know!

Velvette always seemed to do things in a hurry that had always created problems. Even though, she didn't want bad for anyone by doing this. Its just she was like that since her birth.

"Oops."

The maid shook her head and spoke, "Lets take him to the mansion."

"Hmm." Velvette nodded and gently carried Alan.

"You will be mine now, darling."
