chapter 1: Special meeting

Five hundred years ago, it were the country's most prosperous years filled with gold. The king just found large stocks of their natural resources, diamonds, gold, silver and emeralds, it had it all. The country had everything from water for every citizen to fields with all kinds of food growing every season possible. The land was separated by a river, however the other side was never doing well. Stealing, injustice, unemployment were always there, their royal family has been killed decades ago and chaos was happening though out the whole country. No one really ruled there and you could tell. Wars between the both countries were happening all year, having the same results. Allura, the dominant one, always winning and Barolla losing every other war and conflict. Barolla's citizens didn't even have the weapons to fight, yet they still fought with hatred though the fear they had.

It hasn't always been like this. When the Barolla royal family was alive, the country was in it's best shape, making money every possible way they could, no one living in poorness and dirt and even overtaking the position of Allura. Unfortunately a massacre happened killing all people with royal blood, even if they had just a drop of it. The heavens had always held a grudge against the royal family, no one really knows why. Maybe they had some shady business happening out there. Whatsoever they still sent the heaven's most skilled angels to massacre the city without any mercy to the poor people of Barolla. Most of them made it back alive and healthy, but not everyone. Luna, a now fallen angel, had other plans while killing the people of Barolla. And that made her pay the price for that by the biggest nightmare of every angel alive. Even if it didn't include any torturing or losing everything, it was very feared by them.

~ The day ~

The God has called an exceptional consultation with all of angels. They were told to go to the Hall of Honor, made for special cases in the mortal world. The hall contained of neatly positioned tables in a vertical row and the main anciently looking throne, fully golden with rich looking gems, slightly higher than the rest of the room. Now that they were sitting there, everyone was gossiping about what might happened. ,,There must be a serial killer!" Kiya turned to her colleagues and said with obvious confidence in her eyes.

,,Well do you wanna bet? How about 3 years of your heaven's service" Luna replied laughing at her idea. ,,No, but I'm serious! Anything could have happened!" Kiya furrowed her brows angrily. ,,I think a new angel coming here would make more sense" Seb said still stuck in his mind. His azure eyes shined under the constant sunlight. He was considered really mature and respected by the others because he was gifted immortality by the God. Nobody really knows the reason of his gift, but as long as he is immortal they don't need to know the reason.

,,Quiet!" the God has finally arrived and had a very serious look on his face. By judging you could see that he's either angry or the matter wasn't something to laugh about, but how can one judge by just that. Soon he began ,,I hope everyone's here. I obtained some serious matter from the mortal world and would like some volunteers for a mission there, however your rank needs to be higher than 3 to be able to go down there" he said calmly analysing the room for any possile volunteers. ,, Ah rank this, rank that... how am I supposed to get higher when I can't go on almost every mission" Kiya sighed quietly to her friends and started looking angry at the God. Luna noticed it and moved her vision to Kiya. Even though it may seem like she got angry over nothing, she's right. When you don't come from a royal or highly positioned family, you must get up by going on the mission to where else than the moral world, the highest rank is 6, that only the God has, everyone that has the skills of a god still cannot get 6, just 5, but not always you can go since your rank means how much power you hold within you and this specific mission probably needs a lot.

She was thinking if she should volunteer, she was rank 5, which means the highest if not counting the God, which meant she is also immortal as Seb, not many people paid respect to her though. Luna wanted to make space for the lower ranked people since she can't get any higher, but there were only two hands up, so she raised up her hand as well. The two people were Monan, rank 3 and Ryna, rank 4. Luna smiled, she's the highest. ,,Well...not so many people, but I won't force anyone. Everyone who volunteered, tomorrow at noon we will see each other at the fountain and I'll tell you instructions and rules. I hope we can accomplish what needs to be." the God he said loudly, so that everyone could hear and with these words he disappeared again into a thin pearly white fog.

~The next day~

Sun rays could be seen shining though the window, making the windows look like diamonds. When they hit Luna with their warmness, she slowly opened her eyes to a new day. ,, The mission" she thought halfly still asleep. Her hands traveled to her eyes and rubbed them, as she was getting up to get changed. Walking to her closet, she noticed the outside looked strangely peaceful. ,,Not sure how much longer it will be peaceful like this, in a few hours a change will come" she smiled to the thought, feeling a bit scared. ,,Maybe I should just do as I am told" Luna quickly brushed off the thought, she can't be thinking like this. The mirror in her room shined under the sun like it was calling her, she walked over to it. Her reflection was slowly getting unrecognizable with every coming day and she was aware of it. Maybe even a little bit too much aware. But who cares, at least I am still immortal. My reflection will change even more as the years come along with my mind. But what she knows for sure is that she needs to do what needs ti be done. ,,How could I just butt out!! Me! I am the daughter of the previous God! Everyone! I am powerful!" the mirror broke with these words coming roughly out of her mouth, however she did not clean it.

Another smile formed on her face and she was finally walking to the fountain. It seemed like the others are already there. There was a lot of excitement and nervousness floating in the air. She stopped a few steps in front of the fountain and prepared herself. ,, Hi, are you guys excited?" Luna asked the others kindly. ,, Ye! I cannot wait, it is my first mission in the mortal world. A bit scared" Monan looked at her and almost swalowed her words at the end. ,,No need to be scared Monan! Everything will end quickly and good" Luna as well replied, eyeing Ryna, that was gazing at them talking with an expression she couldn't explain. All Luna hoped for this mission was that no one could see though her and her plan.

In the next moment the God was making a portal for them and mumbling something to himself, probably something for the teleportation. The portal started glowing and you were able to see some kinds of silhouettes in it. When Luna turned around to the castle, almost everyone already woke up so a lot of angels were around them wishing them luck and saying goodbyes.

,, Everything's set up, let's get going angels." God began "I'll go first and guide you though, don't go anywhere I tell you not to" adding and emphasizing the last sentence. They all nodded heads and went in behind him. Luna went last, her heart beating faster than normal. She tried calming herself down, saying ,, It's gonna end well" and ,,I am doing it for the good of other people" it worked and that's all that matters.

After a while they arrived on a tree covered hill with a palace below it. Not so many people were outside, it looked more like they had a celebration yesterday and still slept.

,,Did something important happen yesterday? The palace is all decorated in roses and bows." in curiosity Kyra asked and looked if anyone knew, however nobody said anything. She got quiet again and focused her view on the palace. The forest around them looked mysterious and very feared, yet so beautiful. A lot of flowers were growing on the spots where the sun reached and in the shadows grew mushrooms, waiting to be picked. No one has been there for the last 5 years at least. The God coughed and their attention moved to him. ,,So our mission...In two minutes we need to sneak in the backyard of the palace and start a fire and when everyone runs there we will go around and go into the palace to the drawing room, everyone is there, and kill them. After, we need to start a fire at the main gate and run away. No one can see you using powers. We will wait for each other and go into the city, kill the people on this list" God pointed at his right pocket. "... and get back to the hill" he explained thoughly making sure they caught his words.
