Chapter 2

In a beautiful garden, a lady is sitting on a carpet while playing with a child who was few months old.

The lady has silky black hair which reached till her waist. She has a curvaceous body and face as beautiful as an angel.

The kid with her also has silky black hair like her and was very cute for his age.

"Ooo, my child is so cute. You will definately become a lady killer when you grow up." The lady played with the kid while poking his cheeks and for some reason the child seemed annoyed.

'Ah I had never thought that I will have to see this day.' Jason thought in his mind.

It has already been 3 months since he has been reborn in this world. It took him at least a month to compose his mind in believing that he has been reincarnated as a baby.

His life as a baby was very bad because even if he was a baby, his mind was of a 30 year old man. And it was very difficult for him to drink milk from his new mother. So for these months his life was only about eating and shitting.

In these months, he was able to deduce that his new name is 'Jack' now. His new mother's name is 'Alice' and as for his father, who he had only seen a single time when he was a month old is named 'John'. He still didn't knew his first name. And from his observation he can see that he is born in a rich family.

The language in this world is similar to English but also different, so he was able understand it quickly because on earth before the aliens attacked, he was very fond of watching animes, movies and TV series in original languages so he had learned many different languages.

'Sigh, I still miss my previous world very much. It would be good if they had won against the aliens.' Jack started to ponder in his thought.

"Eliza, take Jackie in the room he seems sleepy." Miss Alice said as a female maid in her 20s came and took Jack to his room.

"Sigh, is something wrong with my Jackie." Miss Alice sighed heavily as she thought about her last 3 months.

Miss Alice smiled as she thought how happy she was when she gave birth to her first child.

But later on she became very concerned for her child as he didn't act as other children's.

She knew from some of her friends and servants that taking care of a newborn is very difficult and the mother of the child will be sleep deprived and become very tired.

But her little Jackie didn't make it difficult for her, he only cried when he was hungry or wanted to be cleaned. She can also remember only some rare times when she had to wake up in night and that's also because he had peed and wet himself.

At first, she was very happy but later on she started to become concerned for her child.

What if he has some problems or abnormalities?

At this thought she shuddered and quickly said "No, my Jackie is definitely a genius and a good kid."

After assuring herself she sighed and said "Perhaps he is more mature then his generation."

After that she left the garden for doing some other things.

Jack was put in his crib by the maid.

In these months, he had also tried to do meditation as he was very bored and meditation also increases brain concentration speed.

But it was very difficult to meditate as he always slept doing it or some other thoughts interrupted his meditation.

After constantly doing it for 3 months, he has progressed in meditating, as he can now meditate without sleeping and he was also able to empty his mind.

From his guess, it was probably because he was a baby now he can learn anything very fast and efficiently.

"As I can now meditate correctly, I should try to feel any type of energy in the surroundings. And even if I cannot sense it, it will also prove that this world is a normal world or perhaps I do not know how to perceive the energy of this world ." Jack thought as he started to ponder his future goals.

"I should try to know about my last name and if this world is magical or not."

After thinking all this, he was feeling sleepy and quickly dozed off.

In the Mansion hall,

There were 21 people sitting in the hall.

The hall is like a throne room, in the front is a seat which is very luxurious and grand looking like an Emperor's seat and beside it are two other seats which are smaller than it.

The left and right side of the glorious seat have 10 seats each on which the 20 old man are sitting.

Miss Alice is sitting next to the seat of the grand seat.

At this time, an elder stood up and said "Lady Alice we are very concerned about the Duke's situation, can you tell us when will he return?"

" Don't be too concerned elder, my husband is well and you already know that he has gone to bring the 'Nine Coloured Flower ' for curing my Father in Law."

He nodded but once again said "But we have to appoint someone to the Grand Elder position and as the Grand Elder or Lady's Father in Law is injured, we should do it quickly before some other forces know of this."

Miss Alice frowned at his words but composed herself and replied "The Grand Elder will still be my Father in Law and no other questions will be asked against this. And if there is no other important matters then this meeting is dismissed."

The Elder nodded but he seemed displeased as he was next in position to become the Grand Elder.

His name is Ronald Dimitri and everyone called him Elder Ronald.

After this, Miss Alice left as she was very displeased by this meeting.

She was also very concerned about her husband as it has been 2 months since he has gone.

"Please keep my husband safe, God ." She prayed in her heart as she arrived in her room.

"Hmm looks like he dozed off while I was away." She smiled as she poked Jack.

After that she sat beside her table and started to draw.

She has a hobby for drawing since she was small, so she often drew something when she was bored or concerned about something.

Meanwhile somewhere in the Dark Forest,

"Ahh, die you bastard."

A man of 30s in a ragged clothes was fighting a big wolf as he roared and slashed it clean in half with a blood coloured sword.

The blood of the wolf splattered on the ground and his clothes.

"I should quickly remove my scent or I will be in trouble."

He took out a bag, from which he took out something and spread it on himself and the area of the battle.

The scent of the area quickly changed into musky ash.

"Grandfather, Jack and my precious wife, wait for me as I will definitely come back with the 'Nine Coloured Flower '.

The man was the father of Jack, 'John'.

After saying this he quickly left the area where some moments later, many wolves arrived but left after they couldn't find anything.

For the next few month, Jack continued to do meditation whenever he was alone.

He was able to speak after only 8 months but decided to reveal it in his tenth month.

In these months he regularly meditated but was not able to sense anything in the surroundings.

But he was able to understand and remember things more accurately now, so he continued on doing this.

At first, he was very reluctant to call Miss Alice 'mother' but after living with her for so many days and months he started to feel her affection towards him and slowly-slowly it increased his relationship with her more.

When he became 10 months old,

Miss Alice was playing with her child when she saw that her baby was trying to say something.

"Say Mom, my Jackie."

She looked expectantly towards him.

"M..Mom."

"Ahh, my Jackie said my name." She quickly embraced him and started to run in the garden.

She was very happy because this was a moment of her lifetime.

"Your dad would have been very happy, if he was here."

She gazed at the sky sadly and sighed heavily.

Jack seeing she was sad, he stroked her cheeks like he was assuring her.

"Oo my Jackie is so good, already taking care of his mother."

They played for sometime in the garden after that.

Then she went to her room and put Jack in his crib.

She sung a lullaby for him to sleep and after that she went to do her drawing.
