Chapter 4 Best friend.

Betty got a small but nice and affordable house to rent. Because they reached late last night, she bought a healthy food and ate with Henry and cleaned one of the rooms and they spent the night peacefully for the first time.

The next morning,she called her best friend Leticia to help her clean and arrange the house. Betty could do all these cleaning by herself but she just needed someone to talk to and that person has always been her best friend from the orphanage , Leticia. Betty heard a knock on the door and knew at once that it was Leticia so she went to open the door.

"Are you crazy Betty. Why didn't you inform me last night and you just made a decision on your own like that" Leticia entered the house and started scolding her best friend. Because of how everything happened, Betty only called that morning and gave a small summary to Leticia.

"Hey Henry is asleep, let your voice come down" Betty said using her hand as a sign for Leticia to lower her voice.

"Sorry.. but Betty you should have called me, it's true I don't have enough money but I stay alone, we could have stayed together at my place"

Betty knew her friend was so good to her. She knew her financial problems too but was just happy that her friend was ready to help her ."I'm sorry Lit, I didn't want to bother you. Besides you told me that you have only few weeks to leave the house because you are not able to pay your rent. "

"I'm sorry.. But I have saved enough and you know my new job pays me well. I'll be paying the rent soon ..."

"No don't feel bad Lit, actually the reason I called you was to tell you that we could be roommates, see, a cute hall , kitchen, toilet and bath and two cute rooms" Betty explained happily holdings her friend's hands.

"Oh Betty, I should be the one helping but you.." 

"No don't say that, I understand, you are a supportive and encouraging friend. You were even saving to help me pay for Henry's treatments. If not for your wicked workmates who framed you and made you pay for a huge compensation at your old workplace..."

Leticia had been framed before. Something fishy went on in her old workplace and all evidence were pointed at her . Even though she knew nothing about the whole issue, she was fired and had to pay a huge amount of money as compensation for breaking contract.

"I curse them huuaaahhh, my life savings..."

"It's going to be alright dear, don't cry okay, we're best friends forever and we're going to face everything together, I love you dear" they hugged each other.

"What about me sisters, I need a hug too" Henry who had already woken up because of the noise caused by Leticia said while rubbing his eyes and pouting cutely.

"Hahahaha come here junior" Betty gestured with her hand and they all hugged and laughed happily.

At the Rockson House.

"What am I  going to tell my father Esther, you know how he dotes on them " Alexander asked his wife.

"Come on Alex, we can say they left on their own , there's no need to be worried"

"What if they disgrace us , you know we're family by adoption. And the little guy is also not in good health"

"Trust me, they aren't going to cause troubles. I've missed you hunny. You're always busy with work "

Esther wanted to distract her husband from those devils so she kissed him passionately . Because they had been intimate for quite a long time ago, Alex took this opportunity and that blessed morning , that came together as one.
