Early the next morning, Melody was seated in the lounge area of the hotel where Marianne and Sandra were lodged. She wanted to wait here for them until they came down. She didn't want to call them so they wouldn't rush down without finishing up.
She sat with Abigail by her side. Anyone who saw them would think that they were just two friends enjoying the view of the sun rising from where they sat.
After several minutes had passed, Marianne and Sandra made their way down to the ground floor where they were seated. When Melody spotted them, her heart paused and then started beating fast. She could not even feel what she felt just by seeing them alone.
As if they could hear the erratic beating of her heart, Sandra stopped which caused Marianne to stop too, and looked at where she stood. "Melody," Sandra called and Marianne turned to look at her.
