What Needs To Be Done

While the elevator was rising up slowly towards the top floor, the people present in the said floors' CEO's office where drinking champagne and celebrating their victory for collaborating with their competitors and "sharing resources".

This office had a highly luxurious design, with a majestic black desk, which was holding a platinum plaque with a name along with the title inscribed. It read 'CEO Garry Sebastian'.

The half of the office was surrounded by floor to ceiling windows towering the whole city giving a beautiful view to feast for the eyes.

On the couches arranged in the seating area, two people were seated with flutes of champagne in their hands and some finger foods on the coffee table to go with it.

Among the two people, one was a devilishly handsome young man, while other was a middle aged man somewhere around his early fifty's.

The young man had some similarities with Mark, while the older person had some similarities with Arthur Sebastian.

The two people celebrating were Garry and Luke Sebastian.

"That deal went very well, son. I am proud of you. Now the people from Lotus will enjoy this company's resources and we will get our cut. It's a win-win for all." Luke said to his son with his chin held high, thinking of how rich they are going to become in a short period.

"Yes dad. This company can go to hell, it's enough if our pockets are full. Grandpa gave this successful empire to us for playing around, isn't it?" replied Garry with a sinister laughter.

"You are right. It is ours, don't worry about my father being the Chairman" 'Well the old man gave it to us for expanding, but somebody else encouraged us to destroy this empire from within, but you don't need to know that, son.' said Luke, keeping the later part of the sentence to himself.

"Now, I want nothing else but that gorgeous CEO of ALC International on my bed and everything else can go to hell." said Garry to his father with lust apparent in his eyes.

Luke replied to his son with a solemn expression "Son, I don't think it's vice to mess with that lady. I think you should drop that idea. I have a gut feeling that the lady has a powerful backing from someone mysterious".

Garry snorted in reply to his father's words and said "What are you scared of dad? We are the fucking Sebastians. We rule the country and even the President has to show his respect to our family".

Luke sighed to his son's foolishness, "Garry, you don't understand! Everyone shows respect to your uncle, and not to us. They just give face to Brother, but in secret they won't hesitate to backstab us".

Garry didn't retort to his father this time as he was brooding on some things in his mind.

After some time he said, "Don't worry father, I have set a meeting today with ALC, demanding their CEO directly to meet me. If not then SM Investment won't heed to their request for collaboration.

I am going to woo her seriously, and when I get what I want I will throw her away. So don't you worry father, I have everything planned out properly.

Besides, they know that we hold a considerable amount of shares in ALC, although through a subsidiary. They won't dare to directly offend us. So, just chill".

'Huh! When is he going to grow up? Always plays around with women without thinking about anything else. If only his mother, my late wife was still alive, she would've definitely knocked some sense in to him'.

Luke's wife died when Garry was just around five years old, because of which he was spoiled by his father since his young age and always did whatever he wanted.

Thinking about his late wife, Luke sighed, quickly putting all the bad memories somewhere far away in his mind.

While the father-son duo were busy discussing their evil plans, at the same time outside the office...

The exclusive elevator for the executives opened showing a body frame of a young handsome man in his mid-twenties standing leisurely, both hands in his pants' pockets having a nonchalant expression on his face.

He started walking towards the office in a pace which was neither slow nor fast, keeping his posture straight, everything he did normally indicated his strict upbringing.

He turned his gaze everywhere around noticing that most of the secretary team has been replaced by new people, most of them consisting of young women.

Probably his cousin's doing. He has to do something about this.

Old secretary staff quickly bowed their heads when they saw who has entered on their floor without any care in the world, while the new staff look puzzled about what to do since they had been ordered by their CEO to not let anyone near his office.

As one of the secretaries was about to give a call o the CEO, they were immediately stopped by other staff giving off a stern gaze.

This small exchange did not escape the eyes of the person walking as a small but unnoticeable smile was playing on his lips.

Although the old staff had to act meek due to the current CEO, they knew that the ultimate authority in the Sebastian family lied in the hands of this individual currently walking towards the office.

Besides, the strong aura that was around him was so menacing that nobody dared approach him.

Upon reaching the office door, the biometric scan on the door accepted Mark's palm easily making a click sound of the door unlocking, giving him access to the CEO's office.

This sound successfully pulled the attention of the two ignorant people towards the person who entered, making both of them scowl in annoyance.

'What is he doing here at this time? Wasn't he exploring the world abroad?' were the thoughts in both of their minds.

Mark stood in front of the father-son duo while giving them a sly smile and asking, "Uncle Luke, cousin aren't you both happy to see me after such a long time?"

His sly smile and deep voice sent chills down their spine and an ominous feeling arose in their hearts, but they didn't show their real feeling of fear in front of Mark.

Just as Garry was going to retort Mark, he noticed his father gesturing him to shut up, and he did as he was told by his father.

Luke replied to Mark with a fake smile plastered on his face, "Hello nephew, long time no see! Of course, we are happy to see you here! How have you been all this while? Also, shouldn't you first return to family manor to greet father and other family members?"

His simple yet not so simple words meant - 'What the hell are you doing here?'

Mark understood the underlying meaning in his words and replied in his mind 'I am here to take back what rightfully belongs to me', but he kept his smile on his face and his thoughts inside his mind.

Instead of retorting right away, Mark went near a luxurious portrait of a tiger hanging on the wall beside the office door leisurely, making Garry and Luke frown and started moving it while nonchalantly saying, "I'm here right now to do what needs to be done"
