Until We Meet Again

Both the people headed to the dance floor while still holding hands, as everyone's gazes seemed to be stuck at the mesmerizing couple.

The lady couldn't help but chuckled sexily, and said, "We might as well look as a prince and a princess from a fairy tale. Look, everyone is so star stuck by our appearance".

After hearing her chuckle and say that, the young man's heart beat sped up and even he didn't knew he was capable of feeling a increase in his heart rate due to a woman.

"Well, what can I say? You are a very beautiful woman. Even though no one can see your face, I'm sure just from your personality and aura that you are extremely beautiful", remarked the young man.

The lady thanked him for the compliment and they both started swaying to the music, as everyone else slowed down and started watching the beautiful young couple.

The young man was conversing with the lady in a low voice and at the same time, he kept glancing from the corner of his eyes towards his target, Mr. Philip.

As soon as she noticed him doing that, the lady playfully said, "You know, its rude to keep stealing glances at someone else when you are having such a beauty in your arms?"

Hearing her, the man chuckled and replied, "Sorry. I just saw an old acquaintance of mine conversing there with his friends".

As they were dancing on a romantic song, they forgot about their surrounding, and were deeply immersed in their own world.

They felt like as though something magnetic was pulling them towards each other while deeply gazing in the other person's eyes.

Without thinking about anything else, their heads started leaning and their lips met into a slow and a romantic kiss.

The young man felt the soft and supple lips of the lady and he was feeling kinds of emotions for the first time ever in his life.

They ignored the crowd around them as their lips continued to fight against each other for dominance, but they only kept on holding each other's hands and didn't take anything further.

He noticed her alluring natural scent mixed with strawberry like something. But couldn't guess what it was either. 'Her shampoo or body wash maybe', he thought. Her scent enticed him to keep embracing her.

After what seemed a long time they separated and again looked into each other's eyes. Even after what happened, the atmosphere didn't turn awkward.

The lady smiled and said, "You just stole my first kiss".

The young man felt his face turn hot, but hid it behind his poker face and said, "I guess I'll have to take responsibility then".

They kept on flirting with each other and came to know that they are coincidentally from the same country.

The man was fairly surprised, but he immediately noticed that it was not the time to remain in a daze as he saw Mr. Philip moving towards the restroom exit and thought, 'Chance!'

He looked at the lady with apologetic eyes and said, "It seems we have part for tonight, but I'll make sure to come look for you in the future, for sure".

The lady didn't know why but her heart seemed to be looking forward to their next meeting somehow.

At the same time, current song stopped in preparation of a different track. The young man directed the lady towards a side and took the back of her hand he was holding to give a simple and elegant kiss on it and smiled genuinely at her.

When he was about to move away, the lady asked, "Wait! You didn't even tell me your name?"

The man said, "You can call me M, for now. When we meet the next time, I'll give you my name".

The lady pouted but didn't push it and said, "Okay, Mr. M. you can call me J then".

The man laughed softly and pulled her towards himself. He snaked his arm through her waist, closing his eyes, he breathed in her attractive scent and whispered softly in her ears,

"Until we meet again, Ms. J", and suddenly disappeared into the crowd as though he was not there to begin with.

The lady started looking around but was unable to catch even a single glimpse of the elusive man who made a mess of her heart as she felt it would beat out of her delicate chest at anytime.

She could still feel the excitement when the man came near her ear and said those words in a low, sexy voice and smiled to herself thinking about their next encounter.

'Yes, until we meet again, Mr. M' she thought to herself......

Presently, in Julia's office, she came out of her trance and made eye contact with the person standing in front of her with a poker face.

She realized something and asked, "How did you enter my office and I don't know about it?"

Her question brought Mark back to earth from the memories and he replied,

"I have my ways. But that is not the point. I heard something very interesting...."

He deliberately left the sentence hanging to enjoy the nervous expression on Julia's face because she exactly knew what he was talking about.

She was embarrassed to admit that she was tracking an unknown handsome man but still feigned with an innocent expression,

"What are you talking about? I don't know anything." and asked for his name.

Mark chuckled slightly, which felt like music to her ears and teasingly said,

"Does name Albert Lake ring a bell? I didn't know that CEO of such a multi-national company was this forgetful!"

Julia's face showed a beautiful tinge of red with embarrassment and finally decided to come clean. She sighed and said,

"I am sorry Mister. It was me who hired that detective to know about you. You felt familiar to me when I saw you at the airport. Can I know your name?"

Mark gave her knowing smile laced with fake sadness and said, "You really are forgetful, aren't you? You've forgotten me, Ms. J."

As soon as Julia heard the name by which Mark called her, her face brightened up and replied enthusiastically,

"You are the man from banquet, right? Mr. M? So my intuition was correct after all. It was you at the airport!"

Mark just slightly nodded his head to confirm all her suspicions, but then she asked worriedly, "What happened to that detective? Why couldn't we contact him? I hope he was not harmed?"

Mark gave a mysterious smile and replied, "Don't worry. I won't harm him. I just felt like he was invading my privacy so I asked him "nicely" to leave the city and he agreed quickly."

"My persuasion skills are off the charts, you see" he added.

If only she knew how "nicely" the detective was persuaded!
