Founder of the Company

Walking towards the CEO's office, Julia would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. Because she was.

This was the first time she was going to meet the infamous and mysterious CEO of the SM Investment Group.

When she was in front of the office door she ordered her assistant and the only bodygaurd who came with her, to stay outside the office which caused an immediate panic among the two followers.

"President! What are doing is insanely reckless! Its highly risky" Julia's assistant whisper yelled at her boss, while the bodygaurd expressed his same thoughts by nodding his head.

"Its okay Sarah. I know that its risky, but we won't know what he truly plans to do if there are other people inside the office apart from us two. Besides, I am wearing the watch that my father gave me, which has an emergency switch that will send a message directly to your tablet in case I press it. Remember?" Julia convinced her assistant.

Both the people with her were still reluctant to let her enter inside the office and as soon as Sarah was about to say anything further, Julia's eyes turned cold and gave a chilly look to the both of them which eventually shut them up.

The three people standing and "discussing" about who was entering the office had no idea that there antics were being heard and viewed by a person sitting inside the office with an amused smile on his enchanting lips.

Meanwhile, an hour ago in the same CEO's office....

Mark went towards the exquisite painting hanging on the wall beside the office door and slid the majestic painting to one side resulting in a high tech safe to appear on the wall.

Looking at the safe, both the father and son were greatly shocked because even after working in this company for a few years, they were totally unaware of its existence.

Mark ignored the reaction of his two idiotic relatives and started typing the ten digit alphanumeric password on the safe.

After successfully putting the password, it asked for fingerprints and retina scan which matched with his own resulting in another shock to the duo behind him who were now standing abruptly in anxiety.

"What are you doing? And how do you know about that secret safe but we know nothing about it?" Luke trembled while asking the questions to Mark.

Hearing those ridiculous questions, Mark sneered and replied "My dear uncle, everything will fall into its place. Please have some patience".

Right when he said those words, the door of the safe opened with a sound of mechanism turning and what came into view were two sections.

Upper section contained some files and documents while the lower section contained some USB drives and other storage and hardware stuff.

Garry and Luke were both stunned for a period of time when they saw what was in the safe, after which Garry started laughing but his father remained silent.

"What the fuck! I thought that the safe was holding money or gold bars or even diamonds in it. But there are just some useless documents and USB drives in there" Garry stated and Luke was obviously inclined towards his son but still looked a bit doubtful.

'As I thought correctly, both these people are truly idiotic' Mark said to himself.

"Cousin and uncle" called Mark, which successfully pulled Garry's attention from his own gloating dream.

He continued, "Have you both forgotten? It only takes a single document or a single flash drive to reach a higher place and at the same time to destroy someone on a high pedestal.

As the saying goes, 'the higher you are, the harder you fall'. Right, uncle?"

While saying those things, he took out a big brown envelope from the upper section of the safe which was appropriately sealed and waved it in front of the two narcissistic people.

"Do you know what this is?" asked Mark with an evil smile. And before any of them could guess what it was, he himself revealed it, which resulted in Luke almost getting a heart attack and Garry getting confused.

"In this envelope here are the documents which state the ownership of the majority shares of this company along with the power it holds."

Luke was speechless, while Garry enquired, "What do you mean by majority? Isn't Grandpa the only major shareholder of this company?"

Luke grimaced at his sons' naiveness. His expressions were grim, as if somebody has stolen his precious treasure.

Mark revealed, "My dear cousin, let me make it crystal clear to you. Our Grandfather was holding the power of attorney for my shareholding while I was absent. But I own more than 90 percent of the shares while the rest are owned by grandpa and some other private investors who are his friends."

As soon as this revelation was done, the father-son duo was shaken to the core. They couldn't believe that everything that they dreamt about, a while ago was not theirs to enjoy.

After reading the documents, they understood the severity of the issue they were facing. But they were unaware of their impending doom.

They were about to protest that it was the company belonging to the family and was handed down to Mark on a silver platter, but before they could make any noise, Mark already beat them to it, as if he has already read their minds.

"Oh! Did I forget to tell you that this company was built from scratch by me when I was in the college. So please don't make any unnecessary claims about this company being family property".

He smirked when he hit the bullseye! Seeing the expressions of his lecherous cousin and useless, backstabbing uncle, he was pretty sure they were going to argue with the same point.

"You... you me....mean...." Garry stuttered in shock with his eyes widened.

Mark smiled which didn't reach his eyes and replied in an indifferent manner, "Yes, Garry. Whatever you are thinking, is right. I am the Founder of this Company".
