Jared arrives at his apartment, he opens a bottle of wine and pours himself. He looks out the window at the city, thoughtfully. That was a crucial moment in his life, as he finally saw the real possibility of seeing Samuel destroyed. He knew he had to be quick and careful, as the elections were taking place in a year and if Samuel's popularity continued to grow and Dominic did nothing, he could be elected and gain a lot of power, making him difficult to target. The position of Senator is of importance that cannot be ignored.

With that thought, Jared goes to the kitchen, makes a sandwich, sits on a stool and looks at his laptop screen, which was on the kitchen counter. On the screen, it displayed a huge statement, showing bank transactions in Nina Moon's name.

In that document, it showed all of Nina's movements, since opening her first bank account. The reason he pulled up her entire history was because Jared was intrigued, the fact was that Nina is very in debt having taken out many loans from the bank, at very high interest rates, but there was no trace of where she ended up with that money, only that he transferred all the amounts to another account in the name of Júlia Gonzalez.

He wondered why Nina went into so much debt to give the money to someone else and wanted to find out why, however, even without answers, he decided to send everything to Dominic, along with the proposal he should make to the bank, because as his lawyer, should advise you on these matters as well.

Jared takes a deep breath, another stage of his plan was being completed. Now, the most important thing was to get Nina and Dominic to unite, as he believed that when Dom recognized that he loved Nina, he would naturally turn against Samuel.

That same cold night, Dominic looked at his laptop screen, a slow song playing in the background, Someone Like You - Adele, while he enjoyed a glass of rosé wine.

A notification appeared in the corner and it was exactly what he was waiting for, he had no reason to be in front of the computer at that time, other than the long-awaited email from Jared.

Dominic read it carefully, frowning, he also wondered why there was no place where she spent the money, just the loan applications, the mortgaged house. It had been a while since she paid the installments and that's why the amount was much higher, because of the interest.

Just like Jared, he doesn't think much about it and already sends the proposal to the bank.

The next day, at eight in the morning sharp, Dom arrives at the office. He gets out of the elevator and sees Richard looking at him, with a look of distress.

— Mr. Dominic, did something happen to Nina?

Dominic looks at Richard in silence for a few moments and after thinking, says:

— She decided to take a few days off.

Without further explanation, he enters his office. Dominic sits at his desk and observes Nina's desk, which he placed there, facing him, with the sole intention of satisfying his desire to delight in watching every movement she made, every expression and reaction.

Dominic realized that feeding an obsession is a path of no return, you taste the "forbidden fruit" and each time you want more and more.

He opens his notebook and there was the bank's response, accepting the proposal. From that moment on, Dominic had a decision: He could forgive the bank's debt, which was now hers, or make things worse for her.

Nina decided to try to get a job and only as a last resort try to earn money at the nightclub.

The days went by and she didn't find any work, the only good thing was that Hannah left the ICU, but she still urgently needed treatment.

She spent the day looking for work and at night she went to visit Hannah, without realizing that she was being spied on.

But even though he followed her, Jared didn't find out about Hannah, as Nina had worked out with her mother a way to go to the hospital without being discovered. The only thing Jared saw was that Nina went to a diner every night and after entering, he always lost sight of her.

What happened is that she entered the cafeteria's kitchen and went to the employee locker rooms. There, Nina wore a hospital uniform, a surgical cap and mask. She was unrecognizable.

This snack bar was behind the hospital and Nina left through the back of the establishment and entered the hospital through the back door.

Things were getting more and more intriguing for Jared and he always had the feeling that he was missing something.

One day, Jared watched Nina entering the cafeteria and suddenly his mind clicked. He got out of the car and nonchalantly walked to another car and knocked on the window.

The window slowly rolled down, revealing that the person in the vehicle was Patel.

Patel looks at him, wondering how he found out she was there, as she had been careful not to be seen. He didn't count that Jared could be so cunning when he discovered that she also had her eye on Nina.

Before Patel said anything to him, he was already saying:

— I'm going to have to step aside, Patel. Be more careful, it's not just the two of us who are following the girl.

Jared blinks and looks in a certain direction, where Patel sees two suspicious men entering the diner as well.

Afterwards, Jared goes back to his car and takes out his cell phone, opens the photo gallery and looks at some photos he took of Nina, without her knowing. He finds a specific one and zooms in, and this zoom was not on Nina's face...

— Júlia Gonzalez… — he says, thinking out loud.
