After about an hour of chatting with Abbie, Bill took Steffi home because she said she wanted to rest when she usually would practice. The man glanced at his wife who was curled up on the bed, and looked so sad that he didn't have the heart to leave her for the office.
"Is something bothering you?" he asked as he lay on the edge of the bed, then embraced his wife from behind.
"Nothing," Steffi whispered blankly, because she was still imagining what she had done last night and also Abbie who needed Bill.
"To be honest, you've been acting weird this morning. Suddenly you're not mad at me anymore. You even wanted to go see Abbie... Exactly what happened? Who made you change your mind and where did you go last night?" Bill wondered quietly.
Steffi sighed. ."I'm just chilling at a nightclub."
"Night club?"
"Yeah... I overslept," Steffi said lying.
