In Patrick’s house
The twins had been looking forward to this day, D-day, to see their sister's boyfriend's alleged house. The girls had been very excited when Phina informed them about their brief visit to her boyfriend's house, as she phrased it to them. Before the school break, they had been telling their friends about their holiday away from home.
Persuading their father to allow them to visit Patrick's mansion took little time. He concurred that the kids needed to go outside. They had never been the kind to go on visits. He, therefore, gave in to their wishes. Ever since he granted his approval, everybody has been anticipating it.
On the said day, his driver arrived to pick them up shortly after he dropped Patrick off at his office in the morning. Rather than wasting transit money and the hassle of getting from one bus to the next while carrying little children, Patrick had requested that his driver get them.
