Dan

Saturday night, I went to a bar with my colleague Lyse, to dispel my sadness because of missing Gilbert.

She introduced me to her fiance, about whom she talked often. He was a rich advocate, and his name was Dan. He was rather talkative. He was asking me consecutive questions about my job. Charismatic, with bright white hair, he seemed to try to elicit something from me.

Somehow I blabbed out the name of Pierrot, and Dan caught on it. He said that he and Pierrot were friends at school, and that he never heard from him since Pierrot dropped out. I tried to finish uncomfortable and unprofessional conversation about my patient, but Dan insisted on driving me home and kept asking questions. I was sure that he was no friend of Pierrot from his "normal" life outside the walls of Atlantis – he had none.
