Ethan

As Ethan's mind churned with conflicting thoughts and emotions, he couldn't help but be overwhelmed by the memories that resurfaced. The woman who had just displayed an astonishing display of strength and ferocity couldn't possibly be the same person he had known before. Yet, the evidence was right in front of him, undeniable and perplexing.

His heart pounded in his chest, trying to reconcile the two vastly different images of her—the timid and submissive woman he thought he knew versus the fierce and commanding figure he had just witnessed. It was as if he was staring at two entirely different individuals residing within the same body.

His mind raced back to those painful moments when his relatives had belittled her, and his ex-girlfriend had humiliated her. She had taken it all in silence, absorbing the pain like a stoic martyr. He had never seen her stand up for herself or speak out against the injustice thrown her way.

But it was all an act that she was putting up.

"I can't believe it's the same person," he mumbled to himself, his voice barely audible amid the cacophony of his thoughts. "How is this possible?"

it is possible as we have only met about 5 times in the whole of the 1 year of our marriage.

As he replayed the events of their limited encounters since their hurried marriage, he realized that he had barely scratched the surface of who she truly was. Their interactions had been brief and distant, a result of their sham marriage and the walls they had both erected.

"Sir, I might be mistaken but that looks like Mrs. Westwood." Thomas said in awe his eyes fixed on the retreating figure of my wife.

"I don't think you are mistaken, Thomas."

"This new side of my wife is intriguing," he admitted, curiosity mingling with a hint of admiration.
