Mirajane POV
I was afraid.
The Beast was an enormous monster, dubbed as The King of Monsters. Its body was covered in fur, arms with a length reaching its legs and the width of its thighs. Four large horns protruded from random locations across its back.
And its red demonic eyes stared at Lisanna and me with an intent to kill.
I could see the fear in my younger brother's eyes. The fear of harming the ones he loved.
We had confronted The Beast with all our might but it wasn't enough. The three of us had ran out of magic energy and yet, he had attempted a full-body takeover.
My stupid brother...
"Run! I-I can't control it any longer!" his voice was urgent and I knew that he was struggling to control The Beast and it pained me to see him that way.
Why... why did we go on this mission...? Someone... help us...
"Elfman-nii! It's ok! You wouldn't hurt me, right? You'll be fine!"
The fear in Elfman's eyes grew as he grit his teeth, and the giant beast seemed to be slightly moving its right arm.
I looked at Lisanna in disbelief. What is she doing? She could be killed!
"Run! Lisanna! Now! Before its too la-"
It was over.
When the fist of that monster lands... it would be over...
Time seemed to slow down as the monster roared while swiping its ferocious hand towards Lisanna.
However, when all hope was lost, I heard the rage of a boy-
No, it was the rage of a dragon.
"GET AWAY FROM HER!"
The flaming ball of fire struck The Beast, directly on its chest, sending the monster flying several meters backward.
It was Natsu.
I was glad to see him and my hope was reignited.
Lisanna will be safe.
"Natsu! Take Lisanna and get out of here!"
Natsu angrily snapped back at me, his fiery aura, seeming to heat up the surrounding forest.
"And what?! Leave you and Elfman to die?! Like hell, I will! You can-"
"ROOAARR!"
The Beast had already recovered from Natsu's attack, standing back up, and glared at the pink-haired Dragon Slayer of Fairy Tail. The monster was mad, it wanted to devour Natsu right then and there.
It flexed its claws, slowly trudging forward, dragging the dirt on the ground with it.
Natsu slammed his fists together, and stepped back, inhaling deeply.
"Fire... Dragon...
...ROOOAAAARRR!"
A huge wave of fire came from Natsu's mouth, completely covering The Beast.
It looked like it would do the job, but I knew better.
The Beast would not fall that easily--the King of Monsters would not lose to a breath attack.
And just as I had feared, as the smoke cleared, The Beast was shown to have barely been moved from its original spot.
I couldn't help but plead to Natsu.
"Natsu, please... Take Lisanna and get out of here! There's no more time!"
Natsu yelled as he jumped forward with his right fist covered in flames,
"No! I am not leaving my friends!"
"Fire Dragon... Iron Fist-"
"Argh!"
It was too fast...
All I had heard was The Beast's hand moving so fast that it broke the wind, sending a strong breeze.
I covered my eyes from the gust of wind and when I turned back, I was horrified to see that The Beast had grab Natsu... by the neck.
"No!" I then heard Lisanna in despair as she ran towards the demon.
She was tired. She had exhausted all of her magic energy... and yet, she ran to help him, fell, and got back up to fall again.
And what am I doing? I need to get back up! If I don't do something, Lisanna, Elfman, and Natsu will die!
I struggled to my feet. I felt my heavy eyelids pitifully attempt to stay open and my legs trembling as it supported my weight. I could faint at any moment but it didn't matter.
"I... have to do... something!"
I glared murderously at the king of monsters as it grinned demonically, taking satisfaction in suffocating Natsu.
But I knew I couldn't do anything...
I did not even have enough energy to remain conscious.
As I felt my eyelids slowly closing against my will, I heard a deep voice echo throughout the forest clearing.
"Amaterasu."

Third POV
The black flames of hell produced a forceful impact on the face of The Beast, making it drop Natsu as it was knocked backward.
"Reeaaaa!"
It screeched in terror as it clawed its face, feeling a scorching pain that it had never felt before.
It had to get the flames off.
But it couldn't.
As it was screaming in agony, Natsu couldn't help but stare in awe.
"Woah... what kinda flames are those?"
He then stood up, grinning evilly.
"Well, doesn't matter! Time for you to die sucker!"
He launched himself forwards and landed atop The Beast.
"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!"
Natsu rained down consecutive punches upon the demon, tempted to eat the black flames to empower himself.
And just as he was about to dive in for the quick, he then saw Itachi at the corner of his vision, calmly leaning on a tree with his back against it.
"Woah! How'd you get here!" Natsu exclaimed surprised as he hopped off The Beast to look at Itachi.
"I wouldn't try and eat the flames if I were you Natsu. You are not yet prepared to build a new vessel for flames such as these. If you try, you could die."
Natsu thought for a moment for the first time and nodded his head in agreement with Itachi. He knew it was best not to argue with someone as knowledgeable as him.
He then resumed his brutal beat down of The Beast, amazed by the potency of the black flames but now aware of its danger.

Itachi POV
It didn't take very long for the combination of Amaterasu and Natsu to completely extinguish The Beast.
Elfman, Lisanna, and Mira have gone unconscious due to magic energy exhaustion.
Natsu stood up from the bloody remains of The Beast with a satisfied smile.
"All that fighting with Gajeel and training from Erza paid off!" he said in a carefree manner as if he had not just taken down an S-Class beast (without some help) before also collapsing over.
He was also tired from this battle.
I then looked up, feeling the fluctuations in the opening of Anima.
Looks like I'll have to siphon the magic energy of the surrounding area by using Kamui.
I closed my eyes for a moment, feeling a strange yet familiar feeling of the Mangekyou Sharingan in my right eye.
With the same feeling as activating Amaterasu, I had opened a portal into Kamui.
The surrounding space started to twist in a whirlpool, with my right eye as its center point.
I could feel it. That the surrounding magic energy went within Kamui.
I waited and continued using Kamui for a moment and stopped when I felt the surrounding magic energy dissipate, thereby making the air in this space feel astronomically heavier and more polluted.
Glancing up, I felt the receding portal of Anima and then closed my eyes deactivating my Sharingan as I exhaling lightly.
Looks like Lisanna won't be going anywhere.
1,200 words. The first actual "major"(?) plot point changed. And in style to boot. Woooosh goes the magic energy. Itachi is OP and Badass, end of story. Vote! Review! Comment! K THX! BYE!!!
Also, that was a 13 chapter prologue. We're done now. Main plot beings next chapter.
