Leah turned to Lucy once more. "Do you think the reason why he is with me might be because we share some kind of past together where he holds some kind of guilt?"
Lucy thought about it. "I don't think guilt is a strong emotion they feel. As long as I heard about them from my friends, they had no problem in bullying someone or making sure that they never came to the same school again. So guilt is a Hard pass."
Then what else could it be?
"Stop thinking about it," Lucy booped her nose, "sometimes there is no reason for anyone to fall in love. Maybe he just likes the idea of you and being with you."
Leah nodded. That could be true, and she was willing to take that chance. "I just hope at the end that is not my feeling sad. If he is playing with me and he is just in it for sex, I would rather have him tell me before I catch any feelings."
