Sophia woke up to the sound of Valerie banging on her door, her heart racing from the sudden noise. She rubbed her eyes, groggy from sleep, and struggled to comprehend the commotion.
"What's going on?" Sophia asked, opening the door to find Valerie's angry face.
Valerie's eyes blazed with fury. "You know exactly what's going on, thief! Don't pretend like you're clueless!"
Sophia's confusion deepened, her mind foggy from sleep. "What are you talking about, Valerie? What's wrong?"
"Don't play dumb... I know you took it." Valerie retorted. "Now bring it out if you don't want to get on my bad side."
Sophia raised an eyebrow. "I have no idea what you are talking about. I haven't taken anything." Sophia defended.
"Are you calling me a liar?" Valerie retorted. "So it has reached the point where you insult me? How dare you call me a liar?"
Sophia's confusion deepened. Her mind reeling with lots of thoughts.
