My head pounds painfully as I slowly make my way down the hospital's basement stairs. Dr. Newl nudges my back with the gun with every step I take, and Ana remains quietly by my side. My heart speeds up with every step.

This area of the hospital is where we store old equipment that is no longer in use, which means people rarely come this way. The storage room is dark and dank, with a fine layer of dust covering every old piece of broken and torn equipment. You can hear the sound of the hospital's generators winding through the solemn hallway, and the whirling sounds of the hanging halogen lights, the closer you get to the ground floor.
