BLACK DRAGON IMPERIAL CITY

The Black Dragon Imperial City. The city was the largest in the whole Black Dragon Empire, it was the seat of the Imperial thrown. The city stretched beyond the limit the eye can see. It is a few million Li in diameter and even though it starts from the very dirty slams and poverty-stricken districts.

After a few miles, one would begin to enter a moderate set of buildings indicating that life gets better once you move deeper into the city. After passing through these slums and a fairly better set of buildings one would then enter the very big commercial area. This is where the first wall of the city is located. The commercial district is home to billions of stores and pavilions, auction houses and market stalls.

Different and almost everything one can imagine is being sold here and the district is busy twenty-four hours. it never closes, both wealthy merchants and small-scale businesses travel all over the Black Dragon Empire to sell and buy rare items here.

One could see Black Iron guards, an arm of the Royal Guardian corps in charge of regulating trade moving in formation whilst they patrol the market to curtail any disturbance and forestall any crime that occurs in the market.

After passing through this commercial district you would meet the second wall that houses the inner city. This wall is known as the Dragon scale wall and houses one of the most guarded gates into the Inner Royal city. The wall is so thick and wide so much that warrior chariots and battalions of soldiers were stationed atop it. They have their barracks atop this wall and not even a pin goes into the inner city without their approval.

Once you are admitted into this inner city, the atmosphere, the scenery and everything changes. It's as if one had passed through hell into heaven. everything is so orderly; with paved streets magnificently architectured and every mansion, one would see spoke of the status those who live here possessed.

This inner city is home to all second-rate clans which are very huge clans with a lot of status. It's also home to home to most of the court officials and head of Imperial organizational heads. Some wealthy merchants also live here. Only those with very high levels of wealth could stay in this prestigious inner city. The most assorted restaurants, auction houses, inns and high-class establishments can establish a business here.

Once you pass through this orderly and pristinely arranged area of the city which stretches a few tens of thousands li you would meet a third which is equally as wide as the first, but with extra security as more than twice the number of battalions manning the second wall can be found here.

The Black Dragon Imperial corps, Led by four first-level generals, general and their army take care of each other square of the wall. North, South, East and West sides. They are known by these names respectively.

Once you are in this quadrant named the Outer Royal City the atmosphere, scenery and layout change once more. This Outer Royal city is home to first-class clans, each of which is very huge and has small cities with forests and mountains.

They are eight in number and have a few thousand li of land to house their clans. Very high-level court officials and ministers of the Court are also housed here. Each clan's city is unique in its style and signature.

Moving across this quadrant brings you to the last and the most luxurious wall inlaid with gold and other precious stones. The soldiers on guard were ceremonial clothes and are ranked from chief generals to the least being a captain. These were the best of the best the Black Dragon Empire has to offer. The contingents manning this wall and gate numbered into the millions.

Not even the breeze flows in without their notice. The wall houses two gates namely the Northern and Southern Dragon gates.

Beyond this wall are the Dragon Empire Royal Court and the Imperial Palace of the Black Dragon Empire. it houses The Emperor, His Queen and Concuibines. The Prince's and their palaces respectively. This is a paradise on its own surrounded by a spiritual lake that releases thick spirit energy and yunqi into the atmosphere.

Trees, golden paved streets, luxurious gardens and topmost restaurants and establishments only owned by the first-class clans are allowed to operate here.

The palaces are each magnificent and specially architectured edifices and highly unique in their own right. There are about twenty of these palaces for each of the concubines and the four Princes and six princesses and a place to hold high-level foreign dignitaries from other Empires who might come to visit.

In the middle of all this was a large square measuring two thousand li for ceremonies that leads to a flight of stairs that eventually leads to the official throne room and the largest Palace in the world of the Black Dragon Empire; The Heavenly Golden Pagoda. The Palace of the Lord and ruler of the Black Dragon Empire His Divine Eminence, The Son of Heaven, His Royal Majesty EMPEROR HeavenlY Dragon.

After the Palace is the Military base of over a billion soldiers that make up the Black Dragon Imperial army, strategically situated to quickly rise to defend the Royal Court and the emperor in case of an invasion or a rebellion.

Beyond the City walls a few thousand li into the Black Dragon mountain range is the home of the massive Black Dragon Royal Academy. Where mere mortals go and are turned into Immortals.

The Royal Academy is also a huge city on its own consisting of many training fields, stages for

battle tuition halls, weaponry and a blacksmith shop. Among other vital components would be needed to mould the mind and body of the cultivators in the Black Dragon Empire. After all, in the cultivation world strength is everything.

between the Royal city and the academy, there is a large expanse of barren land where ancient battles had taken place over a million years ago. in this vast expanse of barren land are located many secret dimensions. The battle was an epoch-ending battle that lasted over a thousand years between all the ancient races and the invaders from other dimensions.

A lot of fortune existed on this battlefield and the less privileged and prisoners were sent there to gather ancient swords for a reward or anything that could be useful. On this battlefield, many great heroes encountered numerous fortuitous encounters and rose to become great figures.

In the Royal Palace, the Emperor had just dismissed his official from a formal Court session. There bowed and left as they went in groups discussing among themselves the issues that were raised at the meeting with the Emperor earlier.

Only the Chancellor and the ministering charge of defence were left with the Emperor.

As the Emperor rose to walk out of the throne room being accompanied by the Chancellor and the minister. A eunuch could be seen running into the throne room, he was in a half-bowing position as he ran towards the trio. The minister in charge of defence motioned for him to stop.

He went to meet the eunuch who whispered into his ear. The minister in charge of defence covered his lips to stop him from speaking further and jogged back to His Royal Majesty as he delivered the message via yunqi voice transmission.

His Majesty had a shocked expression but quickly recovered as he motioned for them to come with him. They all hurriedly left the throne room and adjourned into the Emperor's private sturdy.
