Hey Cassandra...my friends yelled bursting into my room.
Gosh! These crazy girls...Nora, Lilian, and Grace were my friends right from secondary school days and thankfully we were all done with school and were now working.
Nora was the young CEO of Glamz and Glitz,a famous unisex beauty salon situated at the heart of Lagos.
Lilian was the oldest among us aged 25. She was a celebrity fashion designer. She designed a whole lot of wears for musicians,actresses etc.
Well,Grace was the most craziest among all my friends. She often came up with crazy and weird ideas. She was super thin with a very beautiful face. She was a freelance supermodel and worked with several top modelling agencies across the country including Victoria Secret modelling agency.
Well, I am who I am. Can't really say much about myself tho. I recently got a job at United Bank of Africa(UBA)
Baby girl....Grace screamed,as the others scurried behind her.
Girls....I said, smiling as they hugged me one after the other.
Guess what??, Grace asked.

Okay fine, you're pregnant,I said with a frown as the girls burst out laughing
Your trial really sulks.... Okay, I'll tell you. Do you by know Calvin,the new CEO of L&M company??and the most eligible bachelor in Nigeria??
Guess I've heard of him at the office, though I don't know him in person. His name seems to pop out everywhere I go,I replied

Hmmm...that's good,I said yawning, probably bored from the way my friends described this Calvin of a guy as if he were some sort of demi God
That's not all Cassie,Grace added. He is hosting a pool party today by 4pm at the paradise hotel and suites.
I thought you made mention that he is a CEO, shouldn't he be more concerned on how to run his business better rather than hosting pool parties??
Come on Cassie, don't be so uptight. He is just taking some time off work. Afterall all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy,Nora spoke for the first time
Yeah,she is right,Grace said. , There is nothing I wouldn't do to spend a night with him,she added
Gosh, Grace.... you're such a slut, Lilian said with a smirk on her face

So that's it, you girls are going for the pool party,I said as a statement rather than a question

What??I exclaimed. Hey girls, keep me out of this pool party charade, besides I don't have bikinis to wear,I said
Well,well,well,we know that as usual,you would come up with your lame excuses. I brought you a bikini personally designed by me ....
And before you think of putting up another excuse,you should know that we bought the ticket already, including yours,she added throwing me a bag.
Damn you bitches! I said, frustrated that I would be dragged by my bunch of crazy friends to a pool party I had no idea of.
Catch me if you can, they all said, sticking their tongues at me as I chased them as they ran off in different directions.
Cassandra and her friends were just out of the bathroom and had already dressed in their bikinis. Cassandra felt a little uneasy for she was not used to exposing her skin. Her friends were already in the pool swimming and chatting with random people. What a boring party,she said to herself. She wondered who the host was?!
Grace.... Grace.... she said tapping Grace who was engulfed in a discussion with a guy.
I want to leave...she said slowly in her ears
But we just got here... Come on, loosen up,this place is fun, Grace replied walking away.
Gosh....I so hate this place, Cassandra said
Hey beauty,care for a dance?!a guy said behind her
No...she replied abruptly.
Just a dance won't hu...
I said NO,she cut in.
Suddenly her phone began ringing,.
Hello mum??she said walking away from the pool.
CALVIN'S POV
I walked into the hotel where the party was organized. My friends were here with me. I wore a patterned short that stopped right at my knees and a Calvin Klein vintage shirt which clung to my abs and toned muscles. I finished the look with an aviator glasses and a pair of designer glasses. The ladies hung around me like ants around sugar while my bouncers tried as much as possible to push them off me.
Ouch! I exclaimed. I had just bumped into a lady
Are you blind?? She yelled. Her phone had crashed on the floor.
Mtcheew...I hissed and made to walk away
Are you deaf??she yelled grabbing my arms.
Get those hands off me...I yelled, shaking her hands off me.
You must indeed be crazy...you bumped into me,spilled your drink on me,crashed my phone and you can't even apologise?!she yelled,anger dancing in her eyes.
Gosh! this girl is embarrassing me. A crowd had already gathered and people were recording the scene .
Do you know who I am?? I yelled, furious that she was standing up against me.
What she did next, totally shocked me.
She got a glass of wine from a lady besides her, poured the content on me before giving me a resounding slap
Did you just slap me,I asked folding my fist.
I did and I'll do it over again,you stupid,saucy,proud,and arrogant guy,she said walking away,as the crowd murmured.
Did she just slap you??? Pascal asked in shock
The party is over...I said walking angrily to my car.
