"Alexander thank you. Without your help I would have never been able to get this," Virgil said placing a hand on Alexander's shoulder

"Please you do not need to thank us. We followed your blueprints, and you are allowing us to use it. I feel as if I am becoming more indebted to you," Alexander said with a thankful smile

As the two looked at the table, they reviled their creation: nanobots with the ability to change shape into any item imagined by the person connected to them.

Because of the lack of material and the project's still-in-testing phase, they only created enough to make items the size of a rubric cube. 

"Alright, this is a good start. I will supply you with more cores to make more guns but this time use this blueprint. I made it in my free time. It is the same version but as a rifle. I don't know how well it will work but let me know how it turns out," Virgil said handing over a blueprint

"Okay, I will have Alucard and the others work on it. I wanted to see if you would allow us to use it to make defensive armor. I know you have your shield but it's still good to have a backup plan," Alexander offered

"That would be great. For now, focus on getting your men geared up. I don't remember the exact dates but within the next month, they should be ready for an invasion force. I want a squadron of at least 40 men ready to go," Virgil replied

"Hmmm, we should be able to finish that. Especially with the nanobots now. We just have to get more Promethium from Dayton but I don't know how willing they will be," Alex added

"I see...Let me deal with Dayton and the promethium supply. For now, just keep training the nest of your best. Within the week I will be back with an armor blueprint that will increase the abilities of your soldier by at least five times," Virgil replied

"Five times you say. I can't wait to see such things," Alexander said with a large grin

Leaving the lab Virgil made his way to the Libary where he found Alucard reading a book.

"Ah, Virgil I heard you were stopping by is there anything I could help you with?" Alucard asked putting his book down

"Yes actually I would like a spell to defend against mind reading and a book of taming," Virgil said

"Hmmm the mind-reading defense is easy but I don't know if I have any books when it comes to taming. I might have mind control but it is beginner-level," Alucard replied

"Thank you that will be more than plenty," Virgil said sitting in a chair

As Alucard went around the library looking for books Virgil opened his system to see if he got any experience from the morning test.

"Damn, it still hasn't reached level twenty. Maybe a spar with Chris can allow me to reach the next level....Or maybe Alucard would be better," Virgil thought

"Did you say something, Virgil?" Alucard asked

"No, I was just wondering. Would you care for a quick spar I wish to test out my skill against someone of your caliber," Virgil said

"A spar...hmmm it has been a while since my last fight. I guess it would be good to get my body moving," Alucard replied walking up to Virgil

"Thank you," Virgil said standing up

Receiving the two books from Alucard the two made their way to the training room where Chris was training with Melody.

"Hello, you two. I hope we aren't interrupting anything?" Alucard asked

"Alucard, Virgil. No, you weren't we are just finishing Melody has homework to get to," Chris said handing her a towel

"Damn, I completely forgot!" Melody said grabbing the towel and running out of the room

"So did you two need something?" Chris asked taking a seat

"I wanted to have a spar against another magic user to test my limits" Virgil replied

"Oh, I see. Do you mind if I watch I believe that this will be interesting," Chris said

"I have no problem with that," Alucard said as they entered the ring 

Joing him Virgil stood across from Alucard. Summoning his sword and daggers Virgil looked up to see Alucard summon a long thin sword that looked close to a reapier. 

"Are you both ready?" Chris asked

"Yes,"

"Absolutely,"

"3...2...1 BEGIN!!!" 

Hearing that both rushed at each out at high speed with the intent to win the 'friendly bout'.
