The only element she hadn't managed to get past an affinity in was time. It was insane the amount of power when I thought of it, and that was only taking into account the abilities she told me about. I seriously doubted that she'd told me everything she was capable of. I'd probably find out how much power that was through first hand experience eventually. I still found it hard to believe that a single living being had that much power.

Even if it was in a long forgotten past. I straightened slowly as I looked toward the slowly rising sun. Aurora circled down on me. Apparently she'd gone for an early morning flight. She landed near me roughly.

She'd learned a lot about flying on her own while I'd been gone. I snorted at her when she looked at me. She'd gained an affinity for fire since the last time I saw her. Her white horns looked magnificent with the small red streak on them. Her scales hadn't taken on the red streak.

Staying that pure reflective white. Her affinity fire was still pretty weak. She must have worked hard to get it. Pushing herself to get a destructive element so she wouldn't have to spend her entire reserve for a single attack.

"Is Goliath taking good care of you?" I stretched casually as I settled.

"Of course," she smiled, "He takes better care of me then he does himself sometimes."

"And the kid?" I smirked.

"Our bond is growing steadily," Aurora perked up almost as if she was excited, "He can walk now too. His mom still thinks I'm dangerous for some reason, but she's leaving us be because my healings are working."

"I heard that you wanted him to start riding you already," I chuckled.

I was glad she hadn't grown into that dragon pride yet or she would have never suggested for the boy to ride her.

"He can't move very fast," she slapped her tail on the ground with a slight growl, "And he's been in that chair so long."

"Your bond can't have advanced past a trust bond," I smiled slowly, "And yet you already care about him so much."

Aurora just looked at me with half lidded eyes. It was hard to tell what she was feeling from her expression. I stood, and strode forward so I was on the edge of the drop off. Aurora joined me on the edge. She was less certain about the drop off then I was.

I brought the egg up into my mouth slowly. Setting it on the ground nestled between my arms, and chest. Aurora leaned forward for a bit to stare at the egg.

"Your egg looked like that too," I smirked at her.

"So small," She cocked her head.

"You were smaller," I chuckled.

She stared for a little while longer. Her stomach growled quietly. Alerting me to the probable reason she'd come up here in the first place. I picked the egg up, and swallowed it down to the egg pouch. Standing as the egg settled into the pouch.

"Do you want to bring any of your bonded?" I asked.

"How long are we going to be gone?" she looked down to the village a little nervously.

"Just until we've eaten our fill," I started gathering my mana for the portal.

"No," she nodded, "They can stay behind."

A portal boomed into existence a second later. I dove through the portal. Aurora followed a second later. I looked around quickly. I was worried that there might be humans around, but I didn't see anything human shaped anywhere nearby.

Even when I used infrared.

"Go ahead," I gave her approval to hunt.

She leapt into the trees, and bound into the air a second later once she'd cleared the branches. I tracked her for a little while knowing that we wouldn't be able to hunt here often. They'd notice something was up once we hunted here a few times. This place was one of the safer training zones. Something as big, and dangerous as me wouldn't go unnoticed for very long in this kind of environment.

We'd need another hunting ground. I'd have to ask Goliath about the other portal zones. I opted to destroy a few trees instead of trying to squeeze out through the branches. My tail lashed out like a whip as I took out three trees easily. Now I had an opening big enough to get into the sky without dealing with any tree branches.

My wingspan was about three times what Aurora's was so if they hadn't noticed her yet they would notice me. The artificial sunlight that beamed down on us was a bit of an annoyance, but I didn't really care. I was more concerned with getting back to my bonded as soon as possible. I felt Ethan's absence the most. Not having the other two was a pretty big negative as well.

My anger, and irritation was already starting to rise. It was easier to tell how much they helped even out my temper in their absence. My current level of irritation was nothing more then minor annoyance. I needed to hunt as quickly as possible. I could tell that Aurora was rushing as well when she dove in for a kill, and missed.

She'd calm down, and hunt normally fairly soon. I just needed to focus on going for my own kills. I could help her when I was done. My tail lashed at empty air when I spotted a good kill. I circled it once before diving in for the kill.

The beast knew I was after him after I circled once, but running didn't help him survive. I crushed him with my hands, and tore him apart. I didn't sense any poisoned mana heading for my core after I ate this beast even though it clearly wasn't a beast of earth. I'd thought that maybe I was imagining it when I didn't sense any toxic mana when I ate the creatures from here before. Now the question was why wasn't I being poisoned by the creatures here.
