"there you are. I was just talking about you," I said gesturing to her.

"who's that," Eva asked.

"mm? oh that's death. she's a friend of sorts," I said with a shrug.

"like actual death?" Anna asked.

"yes and no," death answered.

"how does that work," violet asked.

"yes, I am death. I take the souls to the afterlife, and no I don't kill people. yes, I have a book on when people are going to die and no I can't prevent it," death explained in-between bites.

"so you're not here to eat my soul," Anna Asked.

"ew, souls taste disgusting. besides I don't need to eat since I'm technically immortal," she said still eating some tamales.

I picked up one from her plate and began to eat it.

the look I received was hilarious.

"that's for spying on me when I was taking a shower," I said.

"then give me my scythe back," Death said as she snapped her fingers and the plates disappeared.

"nuh uh. I found it, finder keepers. I found it, I'm going to keep it," I said sticking out my tongue.

"you know I'm not going to leave until I get it back right, so all I have to do is wait for you to die," Death said with a shrug as another plate of tamales appeared.

"When I die you get my soul too. imagine the annoyance I'm about to cause in the afterlife," I said as I pictured it.

"That sounds fun," Eva said.

"hell no. you guys are going to a certain spot in hell," Death said.

"even better. then we can annoy the person there to give us back to you," I said giving Eva a hand-five.

"is it your life's goal to torture me," death asked as she ate another tamale?

"I don't know, sleeping with death does sound kind of neat," I said winking at Eva.

"it does sound nice," she said giggling.

"stop flirting in front of me," Anna said with her arms in Infront of her chest.

"double team death later tonight," I said with a hand raised.

"damn straight," Eva said returning the hand five.

"that'll never happen. I won't let," Death said as another plate of tamales appeared.

"you know, can't you just wave your hands and make all the disappear," I asked.

death looked at me as if I was stupid. then she realized something.

"to answer your question, no. gods are bound by laws too. we can't use powers on a massive scale like that because then the mortals will know gods exist and that would be a big problem.

can you imagine if all the gods began using their powers? the world would have been destroyed long ago.

besides humanity deserved the apocalypse," Death said.

"Alright, I got to go fight zombies now. after all, I need to get stronger," I said picking up "my scythe".

"wait, where are you taking my precious baby," death said reaching out for the scythe.

"We currently got one block secured from zombies and the rest of the city is a wasteland. remember the three rules.

1: don't trust anyone

2: always watch your back

3: shoot first ask questions later," I said ignoring death.

I began scavenging the wasteland for any mechanical parts to create a proper armor suit.

because once the second wave comes it'll be too late. I went to any fights I could so I can get the experience.

j couldn't help but feel annoyed with me. how the hell am I supposed to challenge god if my status was this low?

bolt was almost at his maximum stage of evaluation but I know that he can go beyond that.

since dungeons were the easiest way to level up and the quickest way to get stronger I had to always challenge them.

I had to wait for the dungeon that would spawn in the middle of town because once that happened wave two will pop off.

I walked home semi-tired and decontaminated myself before entering the shower and knocking out on the couch.

the next morning I decided to finally use all the points that I had been saving up.

'all of my beautiful stats are gone,' I thought crying silently.

"Why did I feel you get stronger right now," death said floating through a wall with a plate of chili Verde.

"want me to tell you," I said.

"yes," she responded.

"it's because I follow the path of Yuri," I said nodding my head.

"what's this Yuri?" death asked confused.

"put down that plate and I'll show you," I said and as soon as she placed down the plate I pinned her to the bed.

"it's this."

okay, I know that she is leveling up fast, but you guys have to keep in mind she knows the future.

she knows how to take down the zombies, and the fastest way to level up and is using that to her advantage.
