Removing Gotham's curse (2)

The skeletons came out at Vishal with weapons and tried to kill him. Vishal used the freeze breath of Superman and freeze them all. Then he used green lantern construct as hammer and crushed them to bones.

Strega decided to up the game and summoned zombies. "Bullshit." said Vishal and released hellfire which burned all the zombies.

Seeing the minions shattered she decided to go with sorcery and blood magic. She summoned a creature made of blood and had octopus tentacles.

Vishal used blood magic and a gigantic whip with spikes appeared and he used it to cut the creature to half.

The blood disappeared instantly. "You might be a powerful sorcerer and necromancer but I am a whole other league away from you." said Vishal.

Vishal did not waster any more time and teleported behind her and used "Solimancy. Turn to ash."

The bright yellow light blasted her body and turned it into ashes.

"Why waste time when you can kill villains easily?" Vishal said to himself.

"Let's take care of the curse." said Vishal and teleported above Gotham city.

"The curse is complex but that's not the issue. As soon as the counter curse starts taking effect, other dimensional creatures will come at me to stop me from completing the spell." Vishal thought.

"No choice then. I would have to fight these guys in space to avoid people getting killed." thought Vishal as he flew towards space.

"AL EM KLEEM VILA ARVATERA MLAKA" he chanted the counter curse and released it onto Gotham.

The counter curse started taking effect when he saw that many dimensional portals opened around him since he was the source of the counter curse.

Many disgusting and ugly creatures and many devils which exist in other planes appeared and immediately started attacking him.

Seeing that many hordes appear at him, Vishal used his signature Doppelganger skill and created 500 copies of himself .

He let 50 copies maintain the stability of the counter curse while letting others deal with the thousands of entities arriving.

The Justice league tower received an alert regarding the magical threat and they asked all the heroes related to magic for help.

Zatanna, Dr.Fate, Constantine, Etrigan, Blue Devil and many other appeared in the outer space and saw Vigilante's copies fighting thousands of these creatures with 500 members.

Constantine who was wearing an oxygen mask asked "Is that the guy who played you?" to Fate and Zatanna.

"It's not the time. If these creatures were to enter earth, then hell would look much better than earth." replied Fate as he joined the fight to defeat the creatures.

Even the Superheroes with metahuman powers joined the fight and took out many of these creatures.

Vishal's copies kept bringing down the numbers and also maintaining the counter curse. "Just few more hours and the curse which plagued Gotham for 40000 years will disappear." thought Vishal.

Many creatures already tried to disrupt copies of Vishal from continuing the counter curse but they were repelled by either other copies or the superheroes.

Constantine came beside one of the copies and asked "What is the cause?"

"I have been making preparations to remove curse on Gotham. I finally got the chance but it seems to be protected by powerful spell which would summon creatures from other dimensions." replied Vishal's copy.

"You should have leave it alone." said Constatine.

"Yeah and breed more lunatics in the city. Sorry, I am the guy who solves the problems by cutting of the cause." said the copy and blasted a red pterodactyl creature with blue eyes with radiation energy acquired from Captain Atom.

Constantine got back to fighting and the fight continued for few hours until the counter curse nullified the affects of the curse cast by Dr. Gotham.

"Finally. It's done." shouted all the copies and with excitement Vishal decided to use Omni Beams.

Many Omni Beams came out of his eyes and kept penetrating the creatures and killed them instantly.

"Now, let's close these portals so that no more of these shitty creatures come out." thought and made strange magical movements with hands and the energy released from the magic started closing the portals.

It took 4 hours more until all the portals were closed and Vishal breathed a sigh of relief.

Vishal's copies came back to him but he let one of the invisible copy to touch Dr. Fate and copy his powers.

The league members assembled and now they ganged upon Vigilante.

"You have a lot to answer, Vigilante." said Superman.

"I still have a lot of things to do Clark. Removing Gotham's curse is only tip of the iceberg. Just like the Dr. here I saw the worst possible fates waiting for this universe and also the entire multiverse. I am the only one who has the balls to do what is necessary to save it." said Vishal and teleported without effort even after the magicians restricted his movement.

The heroes understood that they were out of their league against Vigilante as he keeps escaping every time.

"What did he mean?" asked Superman to fate.

"If I were to say it the things are bound to get even worse." said Dr. Fate and disappeared.

The words were enough to prove Vigilante's point to the league.

"I hate magic." thought Superman.

Batman was seeing the battle happen through watchtower's monitors and he could hear conversations through the devices on the league.

When Vigilante told the heroes about the curse, he thought it was bullshit but he got his confirmation from the words of Dr. Fate.

"So, the reason I became Batman is because of a curse?" Batman's mind is filled with this thought alone.

The superheroes who came back saw Batman with a serious and gloomy face.

"Let's talk." said Batman as he made way to the core members meeting room.

They went along with him as they know how complicated the situation has become for Batman and he needed them.

They had to make sure to console him as he is good at acting like a jerk during such times.
