chapter 16

Jacob:

The beta came through with a mindlink and I just stood there frozen, how could this be? This can't be happening no it just can't!

"Alpha we have found the pack but..." the beta trailed off 

"TELL ME!" I was getting impatient and ended up using my Alpha command.

"They are dead Alpha I'm sorry but they are all dead and there is a note as well we are on our way back so you can read it and Alpha.. its addressed to the luna"

Lilly stood there shocked and angry  "I can't hold it in much longer" as both lilly and I let out a howl of  pain and sadness to let eveyone know that a pack has died.

As Lilly sat there crying in my lap we all started to mourn the loss of friend's and family that were in that pack. I grabbed Lilly's chin and pulled her closer to me so I can give her a kiss and wipe away her tears.

"It's going to be ok my love we will hold a ceremony in rememberance of them" I said in a low voice I'm trying my best to keep strong for her even though I'm dying inside and so is my wolf.

"I know Jacob but this hurt's so much I never thought that losing a close pack would hurt so much just why and who did this?"

Just as we were about to leave the office the beta came in and he is covered in blood.

That's when Lilly got up and rushed over to Liam with the medical first aid kit,

" Liam what happened why are you covered in blood!" 

"Luna that is not important right now you need to read this now it's about who attacked the pack" Liam handed Lilly the letter and I saw her eye's widen. I walk up beside her and as I tryed to put my arm's around her she jumped.

"Lilly what is wrong do you know who wrote this?" I asked softly, with tear's in her eye's she looked up at me and nodded.

"It can't be this has to be fake thi..." she started to break.

LILLY:

No this can't be from them they are dead how is this even possible? I can longer hold back the tear's and I break down Jacob holds me while I sob in his arms. I hand him the letter and I can see the expression change on his face, It's a expression of disbelief.

"How is this even possible? who would be this sick to do this!" Jacob said, I can feel the anger raidiating off him, I lean into him and he puts his arm around me I can sense that once I started to lean on him that his anger eased a little but he is still angry.

I began to read out the letter:

Hello there Lilly it's been a long time since we have spoken or seen each other now,

I remember when you where just a little one and you were blamed for our death's. How was it being treated like a low life that you are? and now we hear that you are mated to the Saphire moon Alpha ha! what a joke this is.. now let's get down to business shall we?

1: yes we are your parents

2: no we didn't want you 

3: yes we killed the pack that was meant to come and see you, As Connor was on his way to foil our plans but oh well plans change don't they?

In two week's we will arrive at your pack and do the exact same thing that we did to Connor's pack to your pack, you do not deserve this you don't deserve love, kindness or anything you are the one who was meant to die that night and so now you will. So we will see you soon my sweet.
