Even though Cane didn't like the person who had given the bear, hearing how ferocious this furball could be in the battlefield when it helped to defend the pack against their enemy and those warriors who had been infused with dark magic, the idea of having another layer of protection for his mate was enough to offset his annoyance.
It would be great if the bear could bite off the head of that mysterious man if he appeared again near his mate. It would help reduce his worries significantly.
