For some reason, Blake found herself sitting next to an Alpha that was spreading so much, leaning too far back, and was even entertaining himself with an arm around another maid who was feeding him with banana slices. Since her eyes were not visible to Enzo, she could only stare wide-eyed at Darius.
In fact, even Darius was giving a side-eye to Nicholai, who was—well—holding him by the side while drinking his own drink. If there's something that Darius would think about these two… it was that they did have the same values.
"About Father's call…" Enzo finally pulled himself from the couch's back support and leaned on his knees. "He wanted me to come with you to the Shadow King's wedding banquet. I heard that you guys are invited; so are we. However, Father seemed to know that you are actively waging war with the Mirage Queen for the fun of it, so you might need someone to police you while you're there."
